I have tech package and don,t think mine has auto wipers

I have the tech package. As someone said up earlier, you have to move the wiper controls one step up and they will then come on automatically when they sense rain. They do not automatically work from the “off“ position.

You can disable the auto wiper in the cluster settings, then it'll act like a standard intermittent wiper.

No problem! It's easy to find under Settings > Vehicle > Wipers along with the "Courtesy Wipe" toggle!

Guarnteed my 2020 does not have auto wipers. According to the manual you can turn it off/on in the information display. When I go in there, there is no setting for Rain sensing, only Courtesy wipe. Maybe they added it in the 22021/2022

I don’t know if they’re for the camera, I had rain sensing wipers in a 2008 3 series BMW a few years ago. I think they’re just “fancy” and therefore part of tech packages/lariat. I was just complaining to @Colo_Ranger the other day that I’d prefer to have standard interval intermittent wipers. Rain sensing wipers are a hassle.

I have RSW on my 04 VW R32, but I never use them. I'm in the "hit the stalk if I need wipers" camp. ?

They‘re especially handy when rain is light or intermittent.

I also have 302A XLT, 2021, and do not have rain sensing wipers.
There is no menu with rain sensing, nor stalk position for that.
So, it's not a later-year addition.
It's Lariat-only, it seems.

They are cool. The wipers speed up with more rain and slow down if needed when less hits the windshield.

They‘re especially handy when rain is light or intermittent.

I'm also the same guy that installed a "comfort blinker" in the car so I get it lol.

If anyone is wondering, you tap the stalk and your turn signal blinks 3 times.

I have the tech package. I went to Ford. com just a little while ago, built a XLT Ranger with 302a and tech package. No Auto-wipers.
Did you go into your Settings as shown on a prior post, and does it show "Rain Sensing"?

XLT has Intermittent wipers but nothing I see indicates Auto-wipers

My 2020 FX4 "Mall package" 2wd has them. But I cannot tell what package I have as no window sticker included. Also I have tried doing a VIN search with no luck.

I checked the Order Guide for the 2020 through the 2023 Ranger and found the rain-sensing wipers were only available on the Lariat with the 501A package.
