Hi! Always wanted a truck as a kid and now at almost 50 years of age, finally got one.

Recently bought a 2022 XLT RWD Sport in Velocity Blue.

Test drive it and just had to have it! Has the 302a package with tow and electronic locking rear.

Got a Line-X liner (premium) 3 days ago. WeatherTech liners purchased, received, but damaged in shipment so a replacement set on the way.

Window tint next weekend, mud flaps and tailgate damper coming.

Love this truck! It’s so different from a car. It’s “bouncy” but smooth, quiet but I swear can hear the wind swirling around in the bed and only issue is that my wife has twice flung the doors open thinking that they weigh a lot. ? Have to pay attention to the hinges!

I am going to do a break in oil change at 1,000 miles and put in Castrol Edge with a Motorcraft filter.

Glad to be here!

Hi TZ,

Hope this Ranger delivers many Smiles per gallon... It has a heritage of being Ford Tough!

Best,
Phil

I thought about upgrading the speakers but I think I can live with it for now.

I am debating upgrading the headlights to LED and I’m on the fence on a tonneau cover…I just don’t like the look.

My wife and I are starting to look at small campers, $10k or less.

I am avid outdoor exercise junky so the truck will be used mainly as a sport adventure vehicle in addition to being a daily driver.
These trucks are great for getting you and your stuff around. A small (or even not-so-small) trailer could make a great addition. You certainly have the capability.

If you are on the fence about a cover - wait! See how you use the truck. If you want a cover for security, then you will know some things you like/dislike. There are a million reviews on YouTube. Watch those for some insight. Then come here and ask for advice.

Have the damper and center console organizer. Is the engine cover needed? Where do I buy?
If you can find one, let everyone here with a 2022 know. The rest of the inventory will be sold out as well.

First it's only needed if you want to give the mice a nice sheltered area to toast their seeds and build a nest.

Second, since they were removed from all models, you can't.

Actually, there have been many owners complaining about water in the plug wells. Ford was even giving them away for free to people with this problem.

Per Ford, a newer model is being built.. Available in November.
