Ooh yeah. Same color I'm getting. My current Ranger is blue and my Mustang before that was blue as well. Am I crazy?

You and I have compared notes before, similar delivery dates to Awesome Ford.. I too got word my truck is in. The only surprise was a note from them, 'so there's no surprises, DOL raised the doc fee from $150 to $200.' The only sneakery, in my book, is that he said 'DOL raised the doc fee..' when in fact a dealer may impose a doc fee up to $200 per existing State Law. The State is not requiring a fee of $200. I responded by acknowledging the State allows $200 max, duly noted. Sort of a wink, nudge, I'm not your everyday idiot.

At any rate, if that's the only surprise, I'll consider Awesome Ford to have lived up to their advertised deal - no nonsense upfront pricing for factory orders. Glad both of ours have finally arrived!

@Wence5 I guess today, given that's when they reached out to me with the photo of the truck and arrangements for meet up. I had originally dealt with Eddie Arredondo at Awesome Ford.. I believe that is who is texting me now. Same phone number anyway.

I bet our trucks were on the same train, then same truck. Possible anyway.

I had the $1000 rebate, but the dealer told me that was to "make up" for the change in MSRP. I knew it was a lie. All said and done, I got an OK deal, but I had to fight for it, and the lies just aren't tolerable.

Also, the finance guy was just bad at his job. Did he really think I'm going to buy aluminum wheel protection and key fob replacement when my XL has neither? He had the balls to ask a second time. That's when I stood up and said, "I'll just go get a check from my bank and come back tomorrow." The rest of the meeting went smoothly in my favor.

I still may refi and/or pay it off within 90 days just for fun.

I can't wait to buy a car direct from the manufacturer.

PS - I just got home and still only have 50 miles on my Ranger. It's going daily driver starting Monday.
