Howdy folks.
2022 Ranger Lariat FX4 owner.

I just received Dirks add in bracket. Wow. Fits amazing.
Im using the AAwireless for android wireless.

Ok, onto the main issue. Charging pads seems to get warm and I need to ask all you experts if Im doing this correctly.
Did I wire it correctly?

1. I have a 5a on top and a 10a on the bottom on the fuse tap..
2. I picked fuse spot 35 as its a unused 5a - is this correct? Or do I need to pick a 15a spot? Do you suggest a different spot?
3. The black wire - just wrap around a spare metal bolt?
4. Charging seems to work but it seems to stop randomly as well.
5. #35 spot is not powered by ignition which seems right. Just not sure of the 5a

Just want to make sure Im doing this all right and I need some help from all you experts. Oh and Dirk has been super helpful!!

Thanks everyone.

Im using the AAwireless for android wireless - pain in the butt to get going. Loves to keep disconnecting randomly. Tried all the things I've researched. Pass through, dongle mode, battery saver, etc.... Its acting a bit better now. Time will tell.

From their website:

The power consumption of AAWireless is between 90mA and 330mA, so unless you leave it for well over 2 weeks in the car, without starting the car, this should not be a problem.

so worse case appears to be 0.3 A
