Lariat was the only way to go for me. Wish it had more like my F-150 Lariat. Life’s to short to not enjoy

Yeah, I wish they had options for more stuff in the ranger. I'd love some cooled & memory seats and some of the other goodies from the high trim f150s, just not enough to buy a truck that big.

No grown woman will sit back there
Not so! I have had two adults in the back seat for over 500 miles without complaint.
In fact I got compliments.
Shorter trips are certainly ok even for the rather rotund! :like:
The only problem is that the driver should always operate the doors to avoid unnecessary complications. But then a gentleman always opens the door for a lady... Right?

I have no regrets buying an STX over an XLT. I didn't want all the extra electronic gizmos.
I need A/C, cruise, 4wd, and not much else.
Got a Supercab, I had two Sport Tracs previously which are the same size as a Supercrew Ranger but my kids are grown and gone now, I don't need a full back seat, and I'd rather have a longer bed.

Actually my Lariat has things like the perimeter alarm that I am not sure is on the xlt and other features that really cut the cost to insure down.
My XL w/STX package has perimeter alarm.

I have an XLT. I bought the truck as a "this is coming off the truck today, and you can buy it".

Things I wish I had:
  1. ACC
  2. Push button start
  3. LED headlights.

I put LED bulbs in the XLT housings and they work great, but factory LEDs would have been better. I knew I wanted push button, but I bought my truck in April 2020 and... I couldn't be choosy. I got too good a deal on it, with a friend getting X-Plan pricing. I didn't know about LED lights because I didn't do a ton of research outside of Ranger vs. Tacoma vs. Colorado.

I bought an XLT off the lot, Didn't want to wait another 9 months for a new vehicle. If I were building, I'd have gone Lariat (dropped sport/black appearance package). Lights, and leather were big ticket items for me. Are heated mirrors/seats also standard on lariat? I have a SCAB so not sure the audio is really any different.

just replacing leather alone with basic katzkin covers the price difference.

I miss not having a good ole fashioned analog tachometer in my Lariat. The leather I could live without. But I just could never get used to those XLT headlights, hence my decision.
