Love that parked next to picture. Guessing 59 chevy ??? Notice the gas cap location? I remember hearing the gas slosh around, since the tank was in the cab with you.
This one has the one solid curved back window, and it was fantastic to see being used as a pickup by a great older guy.

You put my mind at ease. You know how those tortoise's get when their off leash and see another one...they can go bonkers and chase after them !!!
Also, I always wondered.....do tortoise's squat or lift one of their legs when they "gotta go " ??

Hi Steve,

No 1 is in a squat position...usually when eating.. No 2 is with rear elevated to get the Tootsie Roll Junior sized turd out of them... You can expect that it is always the inopportune time for them for either event....much to our embarrassment...

Best,
Phil

Phill,
I walked outside to my new to me pool at my new to me house one morning recently - expecting I would put my feet in the water and drink my coffee that morning. I looked down and saw turds on the top step of the pool, in the water!!!!!! It kinda pissed me off and I wondered if somebody in the neighborhood threw poop over my fence.

A little while later, I was outside of our fence to get some mangos off one of our trees for my wife, and I saw a punch of areas where it looked as if someone had been digging on my fence-line from the outside! A couple of the areas of digging, you could see under my fence!

That afternoon, I was outside and saw a large turtle (I believe a Florida Soft Shell Turtle?) digging under the fence!!!! I think a turtle got in my yard and pooped in my pool!!!!!

John, my sister in FL had gopher turtles, whatever they are, and they dig on their property. They try to relocate them!

I took a vacation day today to do a few catch-up things but a garage door spring broke with a loud thud last night. You'd think an uncoated steel spring in an unconditioned garage on the Seacoast of New England would last more than 67 years ...

So I fixed that (was much easier than many of my Ranger mods), then took the opportunity to have Soupie in the garage and vacuumed the BedRug.

Then I packed it up for a day of kayaking tomorrow. It's nice to have the hard tonneau for this and one reason Soupie's an XL, for these more expensive things. And, again, I can't say enough good about the TrekStep for my height.

I also got to use the @AzScorpion tire step thing to clean the windshield.

Kate's auto detailing cart up on the right.

Those are two 12'10" drop-stitch kayaks in the blue bags.

That @AzScorpion is a persuasive guy, but he does have lots of useful ideas. This is also great for applying 303 Aerospace Protectant on the tonneau (which I haven't done yet, but we do use that stuff on our kayaks).

Might be. Might be frogs also. You’d be amazed how much poop frogs leave laying around.

The Ranger moved on a Thursday. :O

We dropped off the wife's Escape at the dealership this evening and went out to eat dinner afterwards.

It has a stumble on start-up and she said it'll do it while driving, too. It isn't throwing out any codes and I think I know what's wrong, but after looking under the hood and having flashbacks of a past repair attempt on one of her previous front wheel drive vehicles, I said "Let's take it to the dealership."

And as usual, the Ranger is way, way, back there. lol.
