Hey all I’m new here! Just put a deposit for my 2022 ranger xlt fx4 in carbonized grey! It’s said to show up next month hopefullyso this will be the start of my build thread for my truck!

this thread will be for bs, photos, adventures, and modifications!

No pics yet so only the stock image haha

FYI the truck is already built it’s just waiting to be picked up

might be changing my wheel idea i came across this brand and they do some neat stuff with having a hybrid beadlock wheel! now will i ever need a true beadlock nah i wont but i like the colors and designs of these wheels

You should look into RRW's quality. Not great stuff. Not to mention the ridiculous lead times. They are an Instagram brand more focused on getting their wheels onto popular Toyota builds then actually producing a good product.

I had a set on my Crosstrek, and half the little fake bolts they put on there started to rust, and had 1 fall off completely. Emailed them about replacement just for them to tell me I must be improperly taking care of my wheels....

You should look into RRW's quality. Not great stuff. Not to mention the ridiculous lead times. They are an Instagram brand more focused on getting their wheels onto popular Toyota builds then actually producing a good product.

is it mainly just the beadlock ones? i personally wont get beadlocks or the rim savers i just want the smooth finish look

sorry to tag you again but i went and did some digging and ya they are a bit sketch tbh...

powder coat issues
beadlock failure issues
wheel failure
items taking months to get when they are in stock
not honoring sales they have listed or changing it during a convo with a customer to lie


just lots of not good things i found out which really sucks since the designs are good but oh well i can look else where

Yeah, it stinks they are a shady company. I had a direct bad experience with them, so I can solidly recommend not to go with them. Their designs are cool though. My wheels were a pre-order, took 6 months longer than they said to come in, never gave me my discount for the pre-order, and after blaming me for their wheels rusting and falling apart they blocked me on Instagram and stopped responding to my emails.

Go with a reputable off-road wheel company, Method or Black Rhino are my top 2 choices!

Yeah, it stinks they are a shady company. I had a direct bad experience with them, so I can solidly recommend not to go with them. Their designs are cool though. My wheels were a pre-order, took 6 months longer than they said to come in, never gave me my discount for the pre-order, and after blaming me for their wheels rusting and falling apart they blocked me on Instagram and stopped responding to my emails.

Go with a reputable off-road wheel company, Method or Black Rhino are my top 2 choices!

Ya it’s a shame to because the wheel designs are great and same with the color choices but that happens I guess

I like method and scs for wheels I haven’t looked at black rhino but I’m also wanting a blue wheel so it limits my choices haha I know fuel has a nice blue wheel and fuel is okay for on road use offroad use they normally seem to be weaker (had a set before and they get torn up easily)

cant do anything yet but ive narrowed down wheel choices between these 3 here. fuel shok is the cheapest at 1,008 next is black rhino rapid at 1,064.08 then obviously method 701s is a bit higher up at 1,434.

id love to order wheels today buuuut life is life and gets in the way of doing fun things!

and just like that my old tacoma is now gone... ive had this old truck for awhile now been to many places seen many things and had so many new experience's! but it was time to let it go to a new owner!
