Not sure if you are all aware of what is happening with the chip shortage. Vehicles across many brands are being sold with stripped safety features due to lack of chips. The official term is “decontented”. Backup collision warning system, side mirror lane change alerts among other features left off. Prices still the same, in fact if vehicle has all the standard features intact they are surcharging for a “safety package” ? . Yes you read that right, have seen it first hand this week. Thinking my pre-pandemic “intact” 2019 Ranger should command a premium price ?
For those of you waiting on orders watch out for this new slight of hand practice.
