In small print on the bottom it says that the services are the dealer's recommendations. I try to be a fairly mellow guy,but stuff like this really upsets me.
No doubt a lot.of it is recommended by the dealer but thats why you look in the Maintenance section in the owners manual. Looking at the list most of that is what Nissan Recommends for thier vehicles. I wouldnt be suprised if Toyota is similar
The driveshaft in a RWD or 4WD vehicle is sometimes (wrongly, IMO) called a propeller shaft because they (wrongly) use the term driveshafts to describe the halfshafts.
I’ve always seen calling drive shaft a “prop shaft” as kind of a British thing, like a hood is a boot and a cigarette is a fag etc.
Technically there can be a time when's it's needed. There is a tiny bit of play between the axle and leaf spring. My first truck required the rear axle to be moved ever so slightly to align it perfectly after a solid axle swap.
