I saw a cyber orange one tonight.
they had the top partially open.....looked dumb with the bars and the fabric just rolled back or whatever you call it..
Say no to the soft top.
It’s all in the eye of the beholder. :) I was right beside a Bronco leaving work the other day. To me, it looked great with the top back & the bars showing. That thing was huge! I would like one just like it if I could be sure it wouldn’t leak. That thing was BAD!!!

Drove a loop I've wanted to do for a while. High Line Road - Mission Mountain - Terghazi Dam - Goldbridge - Hurley FSR - Pemberton. Spectacular, and definitely need to go back and explore more!

This past week I flogged the crap out of it, almost rolled it, and flexed it to its maximum. Then brought it home, had 2 windshields replaced, and treated him (His name is Moby Dick...) to a full professional detail inside and out.

Who knew paint could be so soft!

On Friday we did our first kayaking of the season. This is what we got the Ranger for, to make it easy and it delivered!

It was so perfect for us and made it even easier for us to get out and then pack back up.

Yesterday, we towed the old FJ-40 to my daughter's ...

The Ranger did great with a total weight of about 5,600 pounds (minus the rust that fell off on the way!).

50+ year old come-along that has pulled this Tojo out of many a stuck situations (including a three-day dig out from a Michigan swamp)
come-along-attach.jpg

Kate wanted to give it a try and did great
kate-winching.jpg

the biggest climb it's been on in over a decade (I broke both front leaf springs jumping it in my youth)
tojo-ramp.jpg

The fastest it's been in over a decade - cruise control set at 55 with trailer tow on and 10th gear locked out. Could feel it a bit with cross winds but the empty trailer was barely noticeable on the way back. The power of the Ranger had no issues towing this and getting up to speed easily.

Last time, for a while anyway, that the old Tojo will be here at our home. I set the ball to 18 inches but wished I had set it one inch higher on the B&W hitch. The Tojo is so short and heavy on the front that it had a pretty decent tongue weight (read: too much tongue weight, but it was a short 25 minute haul). It doesn't look like the truck squatted much. LOL, my daughter's driveway is so steep that the front Ranger wheels did slide a little on loose rock while backing down it!

Nothing too exciting. Drove it to a gas station that sells non-ethanol. My Honda SXS UTV is running squirrelly and I'm guessing it's the old 87 octane gas in it.

The Ranger had 2800 miles on it when I pulled out of the garage. (It's a 2020, lol)

On the way back, I totally pulled into someone's driveway and made a picture of the Ranger with a camel. I am gangsta like that, lol. I guess I should add this to the "Rangers parked next to stuff" thread, too.

Definitely parked next to stuff! =)

That's pretty cool and appropriate with filling up.

By the way, camels in Georgia!?! =D

Hi David ,

Yes, camels in Georgia and Alabama as well, but the ones in Alabama know how to park straight between the lines when they rest.

Best,
Phil

Oh gee, I'm all over the place date wise. I did this last Thursday. This is proof positive that there's something wrong with me. I blame @AzScorpion (I know it can't be my fault, no way!).
