Not in the truck now, but when I've checked, it's stated it's up to date. I have it set to connect to my home wifi and update when needed. Good question!
I'm pretty sure this started AFTER being updated. For the first 2 years it was just fine.
Hate to necro a thread, but relevant. I have been having this issue for some time, but didn't look it up to see any of the reset options, just dealt with it. It always came back after letting the truck sit and go into low power mode.
This is an issue. I received a notice from Ford titled "...
Haha!
As for where the setting to turn off the auto BRAKING, it's in left screen menu under pre-collision something and there is an option to turn it off.
I know it did what it was designed to do, but so many things DON'T, it's worth pointing out something did...specifically something like this.
Thanks all. And yeah, my brain made me type BREAKS. I fixed it for those that can't handle it.
I guess I was just super impressed. I also have the emergency braking turned off, but I still get the warnings, just no auto stop. It has gone off and stopped me for no reason a couple times, and Ford...
The other night I was taking the lady out to a good dinner and a show. Bopping along at 65ish on a well known to me freeway when I looked up just as the collision alarms sounded and flashed and traffic in the fast lane was dead stopped. I'm not sure what distracted me, but it did. I think I...
I'm sorry I don't have pictures or even know the name of the one I have, but it fits the dash and around the switch panel fine. It's issue was that 1: it wouldn't stay put and 2: it covered the center speaker in the dash. I have it in a closet somewhere.
Oh, it interfered with defrost too...
I don't have it, but I've considered it for my dashcam to connect to in order to upload to the cloud. I do NOT have unlimited data on my cell. I don't need it at all. Still considering it, but haven't done it. $25 isn't too bad.
Sorry this happened!
The last person that tried breaking into my rig had his face meet the pavement *ahem* a couple times. Police called it self defense and took the guy away in an ambulance.
Not a violent person, but I value what little I have as I worked hard for it.
Took mine in for an oil/filter change and had them take a look. Looks like I had a boost leak (and my butt dyno confirms it). Lets see what this next tank holds.
It's going in on Friday. No, I am a 5-over type....so 65 max around here usually. I do occasionally have lead foot, but it's very occasional when I need to pass someone.
I have noticed that it's taken me a long time to adjust to pedal pressure. I've been dipping my toe further than I need...
'21 Lariat Tremor. I struggle to maintain 17mpg, 16 mostly. As light as I can be on the throttle, premium fuel. Thinking of having it checked out, but I don't think anything is wrong. Portland OR is a fairly hilly region and the moment you dip your toe, it really sucks fuel.
I do seem to get...
This past week I flogged the crap out of it, almost rolled it, and flexed it to its maximum. Then brought it home, had 2 windshields replaced, and treated him (His name is Moby Dick...) to a full professional detail inside and out.
Who knew paint could be so soft!
Well, got the damaged windshield replaced...and it broke again. 3rd replacement stuck and seems to be fine. OEM glass doesn't seem to be that good of quality (outside of installation).
The real issue after all that was...they didn't clean the glass up very well. I tried myself but ended up...
Thanks all for the comments and support! I am very glad to hear of support and it makes me feel better knowing others have had good experiences with them.
Sadly I had to opt for a non-Ranger stamped windshield. They said it could be a couple weeks to get one and I just can't wait; got a trip...
I do have a dash cam, but there is an issue with the install and it thinks it's in parking mode all the time, so I had it unplugged at the time to not drive me crazy. That is another issue I have to address...the hard wire kit the Thinkware (U1000) uses does seem to like being secure in the...
Seems someone (likely teenagers) thought did deserve to live and tried attempted murder on my way home the other night. Someone chucked a heavy object up out of a culvert/big ditch and it smacked me a good one. The silver lining in that they were a good shot, and it only hit the windshield. I...
Not likely.
Don't get me wrong, I love it for the most part, but the slight shudder issue and it wanting to be in 7th gear at 30mph and groaning are really turning me off. Having to go to tow/haul or sport mode just to get around is not acceptable. The Canyon AT4 didn't have any of that...
