That looks like the kit Ford offers through their "Ford performance dealerships". Just find an authorized dealer near you.

It depends on the dealership. Some will flat out refuse, others will complain and may/may not do it, or you could get lucky and they will do it without complaint.

All you can do is call and ask the service manager about it. The worst thing they could say is no.

My dealer didn't even bat an eye when I wanted the front shocks replaced by ones I ordered online. Granted the new shocks are not covered by Ford, but who cares?

Normally, you furnish the part and they will only warranty something they did wrong. Part fails, it's all on you. Pay the little extra and there will be no question on it.

My dealer will not. In my area, even most independent shops will not install customer supplied parts.

Dealerships and independent shops make a lot of their money off parts markups. Therefore most will not install customer parts.

The common feedback I’ve gotten from shops is that if they supply the parts they can get the manufacturer/supplier they have deals with to warranty the parts if they fail, but they can’t on customer supplied parts. With customer supplied parts, the customer and manufacturer inevitably blame the failure upon the installation and the shop ends up eating the cost of repairs due to the failed parts.

I could see that. Regardless it all boils down to the dollars.

Can't really see fluids or a filter causing problems like that and only a shop that you've got a relationship with will let you bring those in.

The few times I've had places allow me to supply my own parts have been folks I know pretty well.

I ordered my Rough Country Coilovers through Stage 3 and had the local dealership install them using my Ford rewards points to install. They were super cool about it. Like others have said it’s all about the dealership you deal with.

I had an independent shop do a heater core on a fox body mustang. I was working too much to do it myself. I bought a heater core but when I went to the shop the guy, I knew him pretty well an he was trusted an liked in the business said if he installs a customer supplied part the labor isn't warrantied. If he provides the part the parts and labor is warrantied. He said he wasn't going to install a cheap knockoff part an have to do it again for free. I never considered that an that made sense. He would only use NAPA or dealership parts.

That depends on the dealer I suspect. Some will not do straight time (per hour), preferring to do book time (manufacturer's estimates). If you're not in a big hurry, dealers will sometimes use straight time to keep mechanics busy. Only way yo find out, is ask.

Truer words were never spoken: "it's all about the dealership you deal with."

I wondered about this with the Ford Performance Tune as you can get them $200 below MSRP online but need dealer install to preserve warrenty. I will have to call some dealers, they may discount the tune if they install it.
