Here's hoping both our Rangers are on that rail car. My dealer had told me they have a handful of Rangers coming in at the end of the month.

After Ford's tracker kicked back to in production, it flipped to Shipped status again last wednesday with Build Date actually filled in. I had written it off as someone incorrectly marking status but maybe not. Should call my dealer tomorrow....
I can't say for certain unfortunately....... Build date for #2 per Ford PTS (buddy is a dealer tech), was 5/3/2022. My deposit was placed 5/6, and 5/11 was when the train car made it to St Louis. It's possible its on there, but I am not positive. My salesman said the train car is scheduled to arrive in Aurora around the 26th - 1st. Why Aurora and not Commerce $hitty, I will never know

I'm not holding my breath by any means. Just trying to be optimistic since my one car is still down a cylinder and inoperable.

I'm willing to cut Ford a lot of slack when it comes to production timelines and schedule slips, but this complete lack of communication and solid expectations would be incredible if it weren't so irritating. I get that Ford Motor Company is actually selling the vehicles to the dealers and not us but ffs is it truly so difficult to keep status on these vehicles?

As for the rail yard, I think the terminating point would be in Denver proper. Both of Union Pacific's rail yards have Denver addresses and I sincerely doubt that Denver would let that sweet sweet tax revenue go to Commerce.

All vehicles delivered by rail to the Denver metro area are offloaded in Commerce City or Aurora.

that is awesome!!! Congratulations!!
Congrats to you!

And thanks, but I gave up waiting on my order a couple weeks ago and found my exact order on a lot, and bought that instead. I got sick of waiting and not able to get any updates from anyone, dealer or Ford included.

I'm also in the Denver area waiting for my Ranger. I tracked the railcar via CSX and then it transferred to UP in St. Louis. The railcar was emptied on May 16 in Rolla, CO(commerce city). Dealer said they are just waiting for it to be trucked over to the dealer. Could happen any day/moment.

Just spoke with Ford customer service.
I placed my order September 3. Then it changed to a 22 on October 28. SuperCab XLT FX4. Now they are saying August 12th. What the fuck is wrong with this company. I have been driving Rangers since 1984 and always been happy. I see others getting their truck who have ordered months after me. Not happy.

Ah, they must come in on the rail line following 76 and not 70. Makes more sense than Aurora, all the rail lines there just go to individual businesses, there's no general yard on that side of 70. I may or may not have been using Google maps to trace the railways ?

Was that transfer on the 11th? The anticipation is killing me my friend

Ok I'm a new guy here (well, I actually just posted on the "new guy" welcome thread).
I ordered my Ranger on April 23rd and the dealer said to expect 3-6 months waiting period. I ordered an XL STX FX2 in velocity blue so it's probably somewhat of a unicorn. Does anyone here think that my configuration could take longer or does that not affect things too much??
I did receive my order confirmation email from Ford within a couple days of ordering but I've heard nothing since then.
Anyways, hello everyone. I'm sure it'll be worth the wait. And boy I can hardly wait...
I'm right there with you. My order was placed on February 28th, got the email from Ford and then crickets.
I'm waiting on an XLT, FX4, 301A in velocity blue. Dealer today told me 6 to 9 months out. ?

Still holding pattern for me.
I can't even get it to pull up on Ford Tracker at the moment anymore.
When I use order track website someone built it does show it in Transit, was showing status unavailable. Still hoping for mid next week arrival.

Looks as though those of us still not assigned a build date will keep waiting. No scheduling this week.

6-9 months? Good grief. Please let us know if you hear anything.

I believe it was. I bet they were on the same car.
So, I decided to pop down to my dealer today and see what was up. Got within 10 minutes and my sales guy calls me and says it arrived!

So, it still needs to PDI, but I was able to take a peek, quick exterior walkaround, verify the vin, etc. I was surprised by the lack of protection, as seen in this photo (which they could've removed already which would be odd for no PDI), but overall, it looks amazing in person. Velocity Blue was the right choice. Earliest I will be signing papers is Saturday

If your truck was on the same rail car, I would expect a call in a couple days to a week, depending on how fast they are moving. With Phil Long being massive, I imagine they wanted to rush it to them
