So which one has softer valving? Are the internal volumes essentially the same so that only difference is in valving? Would an average enthusiast even be able to tell the difference between the two on their own truck?
I'm not upset. That is part of the problem with forums - conversations lack a lot of context and often one forms an opinion of something with their own context to color the situation as they see fit. Perhaps you are upset and it is your context allowing that to color the conversation from your...
Dude, if you can get over your high and mighty self self and we just happened to talk in a parking lot comparing rigs - I bet we could get along without trying to insult each other. What facts do you have to say that I can't even fuel my own vehicle? You have no idea of who I am or what...
And you are clearly so omniscient that you are the purveyor of absolute truths and know best even when you've never done the job or understand all the specifics of the case. Reminds me of consultants I had to work with at one point.
Keep on rocking it - it clearly works for you.
So if you have caliper seize about 10K after doing pads on all 4 corners, you go ahead and replace or rebuild all 4 calipers independent of what condition the others are in and do pads and rotors again on all 4 corners?
Nothing is absolute as you say - unless it is for your vehicle only. I...
We have a 2022 Tremor - and one of the reasons we went that route was the shocks and springs giving the ride we wanted from day 1 - no mods needed. I too debated about the merits of doing so with an expectation that at some point I may need to have the shocks rebuilt sooner than needing to...
So I had the same problem of no power assist while driving at Hwy speeds. Very similar. Mine ended up being a vacuum leak associated with the install of a Demco stay n play duo supplemental braking system to enable flat towing of the ranger.
to rectify, I changed where the supplemental vacuum...
Phil,
I am sure it occurred in transport as well. Having ship a few vehicles across the country on my own - all to familiar with it. Also worked for Ford as an engineering intern. Worked at Wixom assy as part of the Supplier Quality Engineering team...worked on a refresh of the Town Car and...
Ours had a bronco owners manual. There was also a dent in the hood that I can only see when Iām drivingā¦took 3-4 hours in the eight hour drive home for me to notice it.
just noticed today there is no soft open/damper mechanism for glove box door.
I had a moment where I thought Iād be okay enough to take a peak under the hoodā¦mostly because I fortunately installed hood lift struts about 2 months ago. Without lift struts, doubt Iād be able to lift the hood and the prop rod right now.
Anyway, the relocated vacuum sensor was properly...
I have not. Had too many projects competing with play time. And now Iām limited recovering from surgery. Maybe in a couple weeks Iāll reengage the raingler folks.
Thank you for the assist.
Item 13 is a sensor and not a valve correct? The revised Demco kit has you hook up essentially a T in place of #13 that relocates #13 but the other side of the T goes to the Demco vacuum pump.
Prior to putting in the revised T at bottom of booster - Demco vacuum...
We have been having a random issue only on reverse upon first startup of the day. Go to apply brakes after releasing while in reverse and the pedal hardly movesā¦stiff as hell. Truck keeps backing up until you stand on the pedal, at which time the abs pump kicks in and it feels as if power...
You might want to compare payload and towing capacity for Tremor vs say FX4 or whatever you have. IIRC - tremor has a 500lb lower limit on towing capacity because of the softer springs. I can't recall if payload was similarly impacted - but I *think* so.
We have a Tremor and it had similar...
So I finally had the time (and acceptable weather) to install the 6257 part that relocates the vacuum sensor and provides a tee for the demco vacuum pump. I also ordered an OEM replacement for the section that was previously modified to tee in.
I also added a 2nd demco check valve and placed...
Thanks. I did some searching and it looks like that whole assembly retails for around $225. We are on the road and wonāt be in a place long enough to get parts shipped to us until middle of the month. Probably not worth the $$ to replace that assembly, so Iāve got at least 2 weeks to think it...
We are experiencing similar issues.
For those that installed the 6257 part to plug in at bottom of booster where pressure sensor was located, what did you do with the stuff you plumbed in on the vacuum supply line up top? Cap off the tee?
Iād like to get that 6257 part AND restore the OEM...
Any chance you know or recall the code?
We have a ā22 with P0556 āBrake Pressure Sensor circuit range/performanceā that was stored in the power train control module when I read codes this morning. What Fe had the same brake warning come in 3 or 4 times on a 4 hour drive yesterday. I had it...
Has anyone installed a Raingler Attic/ceiling net? I found a few references to the brand, but nothing suggesting someone has one in a super crew.
I have one - but can't really figure out how to install. The one I have in the RAM attaches to anchors you put in place of the coat hooks that...
Rear window coat hooks? Our 22 Lariat super crew doesn't have coat hooks over the rear window. I went to go install a Raingler Attic Net today - and I can't. Company says net is intended to use two coat hooks over rear window that are there on some truck and not there on some.
