Welcome Joe! Nice looking Roush Ranger and there's a few other members here who have them too. You'll find a bunch of info here and many willing to help you with questions and also spend more money on your Ranger. ?

Hello everyone, new guy here. I don't normally participate in forums but here we go anyway. Not new to Rangers though, I'm currently driving a 2000 Ranger Trailhead that I bought new from the dealer in November of 1999. It's been a great truck. I was sad to see the Ranger discontinued in 2011 and I said to myself, "If they ever bring the Ranger back, I'm getting one!"
Well, here we are! I ordered a 2022 XL STX FX2 in Velocity Blue back on April 23rd. I think I just made it in before the deadline I've been hearing about. I've gotten the order confirmation from Ford but haven't heard anything else. I know it's only been a few weeks but I'm seriously anxious. And I'm normally a patient guy but this is driving me crazy. Oh well, just need my 2000 to hold out til then. She's got 266,xxx on the odo and still going. But she is an old lady for sure. She'll still burn those tires but I never do that anymore. Gotta respect the lady.
Anyway, hello everyone. I look forward to participating in this forum. Everyone seems really cool here.
Thanks

Welcome Chris! Sounds like you got a lot of good miles out of your old Ranger and I'm sure you've had a lot of fun with it too. Yes the waiting is the hardest part especially now a days with all the delays but it'll be worth it in the end.

This is a really great forum and there's a wealth of info here along with many who will be more than happy to help you spend your money on parts, accessories and detailing stuff. ? Be careful of the guy pushing the 303 products as it's just a gateway and leads to harder stuff.?:bandit:

Hopefully there aren't many more delays and yours gets built soon. When using the search bar it's best to use the google tab that's there, you'll get better results that way.

:stop: Just a warning though. Those that do (check in often) end up with a garage full of stuff before their truck is even built. lol

Welcome Chris, Dave is absolutely right. The site has a vast amount of information at your fingertips. Just be careful where you go, there is temptation around every corner. Just kidding I’m glad I found this site for the banter and mostly the wealth of information.

Hello everyone my name is Rick. I ordered my 22 Scab XLT Carbonized gray, 302a, FX4 on Feb 23. I sold my 2015 Taurus with 18,000 miles in order to buy the Ranger. I am driving my 06 Ranger XLT Scab till the new one comes in. I do know one thing, I can get into a lot of trouble being on this site with all the stuff that can be done to these new Rangers.
Hey Rick,

I’m telling you now because I speak from my own frightening, personal experience. You’ve come to a very bad place and now you’re totally screwed.

You’ll go from something a bit like this…

To something a lot like this…

To something more like this…

And eventually to this…

Enjoy that new Scab while you still have money to put gas in it. ?

Future mods:
considering Icon Vector 6 or Compression wheels.....
when these Toyos wear out- no doubt another set, but as 285s and crashbar removal as needed, which form my extensive reading, I am sure I will have to remove.

My Ranger has served me well, hauling my mountain bike to the trailhead, HDepot runs, camping, and exploring the many offroad trails I have driven on.

Hi everyone, I'm Henry, the recent owner of a new-to-me '19 Ranger XLT in magnetic gray. I love driving this thing and happy to be part of this group. Been here a few weeks and found tons of great advice and ideas! Starting with that tailgate damper of course ;)
welcome! always nice to see more Texas folks.

Hey all, Robbie from Wyoming here. Got my 22 XLT FX4 Scab a couple weeks ago. Ordered it in January and man was it worth the wait. Never thought I’d be excited to own a Ford, but I upgraded from a 2002 Tacoma and I am beyond happy with the new lil truck. 800 miles in and I can’t wait to drive it every single day.

Duke, I already have #1 and #4 I’m hoping for #2 as for #3 I already have a project that is going to take a hell of a lot of motivation I don’t need another one, just simple mods on the Ranger If i see it this year.
