I sprayed my side vents with that "Dip your Ride" rubberized spray about a year ago. After many carwashes it was starting to peel off badly (still took me 2 1/2 hours to peel it all off). I decided to go with paint this time. I did a much better prep from what I've learned since the original job. I made sure to scuff well with a scotchbrite pad and apply 3 coats of a plastic adhesion promoter. Anyway, 5 coats of satin black followed by 5 coats of 2K matte clear coat has them looking wonderful. Hopefully they hold up better this time

Installed the Roadmaster Active Suspension Kit I got from them.
Nut n bolt install, took about 1 1/2 hours.
Won't be able to test it with a load / trailer till next week, but just driving with no load it had definitely firmed up the ride...not harsh at all. Going thru a corner it feels exactly as a vehicle with a sway bar would, very little lean / roll as compared to stock.
Just first impression, a bit more driving is needed with a load.

Adding a picture, after installing the Icon leaf springs. It measures 40" ground to fender in the front and 41" ground to fender in the rear. Slight rake, which I don't mind.

Took the wife out in the truck for the first time since the install and she said "it feels a lot smoother". I will take that as a win.

Received my dash mat I ordered a few weeks back from CoverCraft.

I'm not one for dash mats but I had one in my Fiesta, my Dad has one in his Ranger -Nice to put stuff up there and not have it fly off the dash.

We need dash mats here in our dry desert climate. I've seen dashboards dry out and crack which didn't have any protection on them :)

That's not bad looking actually. Struggling to read the tag - where'd you find this one?

I got it in black velour to match the ebony interior. It fits well without wrinkles, looks nice and no reflections. Needed one with the Forward Collision cut-out. Got it thru my Dealer (Power Ford) with FordPass rewards. Dash Designs brand...

It seems like it would be a great way to reduce glare too (and maybe noise a little).

I had bookmarked this before as a "nice to have" but was wondering how well it stays in place?

Thanks! =)

David,
I used the velcro fasteners and it stays flat and firmly in place :like:

New tires, Michelin Defender LTX. I had 40,000 miles on the OEM Bridgestones, and could have gone another few months. But it's probable that I'll be in another truck by the time these get anywhere near needing to be replaced. So I'd rather get the use of them on the front end.

David, Paul is correct. Haven't had any issues with mine moving (I got the Dashtex):

Had an uncle that owned a 1950 Buick. They kept it so clean they had to put a towel on the dash to cut down the sun glare. Don't know how he kept it on there.
