Yeah, I won't believe anything they tell me now until I see the truck in person. Ford sent me an email 12 days ago saying the new arrival range was pushed to 4/16-4/22. I turned sour this morning after finding out that the nice FX4 that showed up at my dealer last week had a blend date a week after mine. Now I'm in the camp that thinks something else is holding up our trucks.
There's clearly more to the story and we'll probably never know what it is. The fact that mine took over a week from the blend date to be marked as built makes me think there's more to the story. Something was delayed right from the get-go.

But yeah, that's definitely discouraging. This all makes me wish I hadn't bought any accessories before I actually received the vehicle. I think I'd be more heavily cross shopping at this point. My eye has definitely wandered lately.

I'm in that boat now, I've got rubber floor mats and a console organizer to find new homes for... Thankfully nothing too big, I'm glad I stopped myself from buying more.

So much discipline required! I did a Leer Tonneau and Full Bedrug on a special sale, but have had to resist other until at least notice truck is being built...

pozMeister, If you don't mine I have another question, maybe 2 for you. My truck arrived in Kirby yesterday. I actually saw the railcar as I was stopped waiting for the train. That was so exciting. Anyway..what was the process once it arrived at Kirby? How long did it take to get it at your dealership? My dealership is in San Antonio so only about 16 miles from rail yard. Thanks again.
Ranger Girl,
Well, as far as I know, my Ranger is still sitting there at the rail yard. I think it got off the train last Wednesday. My sales guy at my local dealer said we are just waiting for them to load up 18-wheeler car carriers and drive a load up here to Austin. He said he has more than 10 trucks he ordered for customers waiting there. The guess was lack of truck drivers is the main issue causing the delays. He said it usually just takes a day or two to get them up here. I'm so tired of all this waiting. Ugh. You may get yours before I do.

I've been holding off on the bigger $ accessories like the Softopper and XTrusion rack, but do have the Wolf Haus bed power and two bed tie down points sitting here waiting. I want to have this truck ready for camping starting sometime in May, but no longer have my hopes up. If this delay strings out for a few months, I'll pass on this '22, just drive what I have and wait for the next gen Ranger.

Yup, one bump then another delivery bump
Hey Rich! I just got off the phone with Ford Customer Service. They advised that my Ranger should still be delivered to the dealership in Nashville on this Friday, the 22nd. My blend date was 3/20/2022. I think yours was on the 19th. What are they giving you for a delivery date or day at this point? My original delivery date was supposed to be on 3-29 to 4-4. Maybe we will get our new trucks this week. Thanks! Phil

Well that really stinks but suppose we shouldn't be complaining after what everyone else is having to deal with. But...... still would be nice to get it. I went by Kirby yesterday had to wait at train crossing and actually was able to see a car with my railcar number on it. Maybe I could talk my dealer into going and picking it up? Only 16 miles. One could hope

That would be even more frustrating! There is my railcar with my truck - 16 miles away from my dealer - and I am waiting. MAybe the rail carrier would release it to your dealer if they went and picked it up?

I’ve been stuck in production with no updates on status for over a week, plus a blend date of last Wednesday. Module list still showing “G” and that’s it.

At this rate. I can probably expect my truck to be here in…August. ??‍♂

No hurry here, but, this is agony and it hasn’t even got to shipping yet ?
What is this module list you mention?

Must admit I got very excited with I saw that rail car. I'm being patient. I'll give them a day or two. LOL. Hoping to get it and financing completed before my next auto payment on my current ranger posts in 2 days

Has anyone waiting for a truck to ship ever call the MAP (Michigan Assembly Plant)direct instead of Ford customer care?
I’m gonna talk with the dealership one more time and then make the call to the plant and see if I get anywhere.

It's on the Order Track site that some of us have been using to see the nitty gritty details behind the order itself that Ford's tracking site does not tell us.

There's a module link that goes back to Ford, and you can search VIN #s there to find the status of modules. If it shows more than one module, it's likely been built or almost finished with in-production status.

If yours, like mine, shows just one module, if any, it's nowhere near finished.

Finally got my VIN from the dealership... Not by sales rep, but by it showing up in their inventory  They also have it listed as a Lariat haha (window sticker correctly lists XLT)

XLT FX4 SCAB - 301A, keypad, tech, tow, and tonneau.

Order date 1/3/22
Blend date 4/8/22
Order Track still says In Production, Ford tracking is apparently taking an extended weekend and won't tell me anything, just refreshes the page asking for VIN
Dealer says they expect it May 2nd?

I imagine the May 2nd date is my sales rep talking out of his ass again. Seeing others delay for shipping to CO, I doubt a quick turnaround.
