I do like the looks of the Colorado too, and to be honest it does look a little better than the 6g Ranger to me, it’s a sharp looking truck. When the new Colorado was coming out people were speculating that the Colorado would get the 10 speed, I did go to the build page and take a look but once...
The only cool thing that I see would be cool about the Colorado for you would be…
You drive a Colorado
You live in Colorado
You live in the city of Colorado Springs
That’s easy to remember and I’m sure there’s a good joke in there somewhere.
but for everyone else they are likely going to be...
I found my post on 6g, here are most of the differences that I noticed between the 2…
I ordered in April picked up in late August from Granger Motors.
I ordered the cheapest Ranger you can get and very happy. $34,928 OTD
I had a 5g Ranger and have a 5g Ranger work truck. I thought they would...
I upgraded too from a 5g to 6g.
I still drive a 5g for work but my personal vehicle is a 6g.
The LED headlights and the interior is the biggest changes. They are both good with the 6g having the edge for sure.
My guess would be hundreds or thousands of heat cycles from cold to hot back to cold etc. drum heats up, it gets bigger, bearing race/bushing is a different material so expands at a different rate and moves each cycle a little bit until it blocks the oil passage.
A lot of people are saying you should have done this or that and think that changing the fluid/filter would have prevented a failed trans.
While it’s known that prior to 23 models have a CDF drum issue, there is a bearing race that moves and blocks oil passage from freely passing through. This...
Thanks for the pics! The fitment looks great and good to know the tops swap out minus the back trim panel.
Is that a XF lurking in the background? Looks lowered too? I was a Jaguar tech in years past, Im a big fan.
Yes some pictures please. And some closer ones of the riveted area. Thanks so much!
you might want to post on Ranger 6G too. These 5g guys could probably care less lol. I just so happen to have both.
I’d just throw the whole thing in the garbage.
you are having issues now, you will have issues later down the line. I’m looking at the 10 ft of rubber hose that will likely rub on something and/or swell up. And then cause a leak.
how much oil is really in the catchcan? The benefits later...
Think about it, are you going to be a CEO at the big 3? No
Everyone claiming that UAW workers make too much money, here’s another thought.
Everyone that’s not in the UAW is not making enough money! You need to strike too!
United We Stand
Divided We Fall
Strike baby Strike!
Tunes do make great power but come at a high cost. The gray area for warranty is hard no for me. What about your 5yr 60k powertrain warranty? Kiss that goodbye.
I had a bad experience. Sport mode does just fine for me.
Interesting, 4x4 is standard in Canada. Maybe that’s how it was for the 5g too?? You can’t even option to remove it.
But ya 43450 for the cheapest optioned truck. yikes!
