I've been feeling a bit down lately, but the laboratory did not agree and they said that I'm very positive instead. I called the doctor and complained that I don't want to be a positive member of society and can he prescribe anything for it?

So he wrote me some codeine and instructed me to stay away from people and maybe in 5-10 days I'll get back into the negative department.

And then the ranger took my coughing, slime emitting, ever positive self to apothecary to collect the pills. Pills say no driving so I'll prolly just sit on the sofa for rest of the week and leave the ranger be.

P.S. Yes, indeed, certified covid-19 positive.
sleep as much as you can take vitamins and drink lots of water. first several days are the worst. hope you are well soon!

Another sad day for the Ranger in an overall messed up week.

Lost another best friend today after messing up my knee skiing.

RIP Cricket

When we first rescued her in 2012, until today.?

Now will be with her best bud Rebel across the Rainbow Bridge on Rebel's birthday.

Wifey & I took Pepper on long journey from Plant City to Clearwater for a consultation at Morton Plant Hospital to see if I qualified for an experimental procedure to replace the mitro valve without the need of going through open heart surgery.

But alas, further tests determined it would need to be open heart.

Pepper did very well. It is NOT ever an easy drive from PC to Clearwater. Traffic, traffic & more traffic. (UGH!!!)

I-4, I-275, both are nightmare highways even when actually flowing freely. Then, because of an early morning rollover crash on the Courtney Campbell Causeway, that road was shutdown so everyone was going the alternative route, again I-275. (MORE UGH!!!)

So, after all that, & it was even worse on the return trip, I have decided that the surgery will take place in Tampa at St Joseph's Hospital's Heart Institute, which is in the same group of hospitals as Morton Plant, the Bay Care system. Now we wait on an actual date for this much needed surgery.

That was Peppers outing for yesterday.

John, sorry to hear the news wasn't better. Praying that when you get the surgery it will be a success.

Hi Folks,

Yesterday, the Ranger took us South to 20 miles above the boarder to Rio Rico. There is a Mexican Sea Food restaurant off the beaten path that we wanted to try. Nice little place with horrible parking... We are seated and the server is Anna! A lady we have known for years that "disappeared"...We caught up on where she had been and her family life... Great time!...food was just okay and we will likely give it one more try before we give up on it.... A bit of travel distance for mediocre food.

Best,
Phil
