If I was in your shoes, that close to the plant, I’m sure I’d be going bat sht crazy hearing that other convey shipments are going out with later builds. I’m sick of waiting and it’s only been about 3.5 weeks since mine was built, but thinking it’s beyond Fords control helps me a little. I’ll be real unhappy if I see later builds arrive in New England before mine, and for sure then I’ll wonder what’s wrong with those being held back. Hopefully the group of New Englanders on here waiting all see progress at the same time, and sometime soon. The longer the wait, the more I consider finding an FX4 nearby and upgrading the suspension instead of the Termor I ordered. That, and the 2023 switchover (May 2023?) is in the back of my mind as well.
Based on how things are going now I don’t think the 2023’s will be any better

Still stuck in shipping purgatory... Blend was 3/15 so over a month now from start of production.

Just wanted to point out if you use ordertrack that the number of vehicles "in the same status" is not the overall total, it's just the number being tracked on ordertrack by owners waiting along with you. So while I have 30 other people with me constantly refreshing the page there could be a few hundred other trucks sitting in the lot waiting for shipment.

I am still trying to filter the results. I get optimistic and then I begin to question the whole thing. The Order Track shows built, but pending; the Ford email I received said shipped and should be received by the end of next week; the Ford tracker website say it has shipped; the dealer has been silent; and the Ford website chat person told me it will ship on the 4/21.

Did the Ordertrack take your status out of the “on hold” yet? If you click the ? Next to pending it has more explanations. I would like to know what similar means. But mine still seems to be stuck, maybe this week will show some hope. I don’t think Ordertrack will move tell they pick or pair it the day it ships. But could be wrong.

If your in Michigan most likely your truck will show up at dealer before any of the trackers show it shipped. That’s what happened to mine

I agree. Truck has been sitting in South Carolina for over 2 weeks probably covered in dust and pollen. Frustrating to say the least

For me the situation is neither trackers show "shipped", they're both at "awaiting shipment" despite the delivery range between 10th and 16th(now moved to 18th).

Dunno if the tracker is not being updated or whats going on.

Update I feel like everyone got but here is mine

To ensure your complete satisfaction, we will require additional time before your 2022 Ranger XLT is delivered to Long-Lewis of Hoover. Your vehicle’s previous estimated delivery range of April 4, 2022, and April 10, 2022, has been updated to between April 15, 2022, and April 21, 2022.

We will continue to keep you informed regarding your vehicle’s estimated time of delivery.

Thank you

So after a bit of cooling off from my previous order debacle, I ordered another Ranger from a different dealer in the area. ? I guess I like being in purgatory and wait another 3,4,5,6 months for a Ranger?‍♂
While I did not receive the below MSRP discount, and looks like I probably will lose the heated seats (believe they are no longer available at all according to ford site) I placed the order anyways. The bonus is the dealer did not require any deposit only signature for order and agreed upon price, and stated I could cancel at any time as he would be able to then place the vehicle in his stock since ford was not giving him anymore vehicles (allotment). So I am free to continue to shop around while waiting for my order.
I did test drive the new Nissan Frontier and was quite impressed (power, shifting, heated seats, tech, dampeners ?, no ASS button) Basically many items that members here complain about that are not available or lack on the Ranger, are on Frontier. Brakes were firm. Large tablet style center screen. XLT style analog tach and speedometer with larger center info screen….on and on. Not trying convince anyone, just impressed by MY standards.
That being said, Nissan does not take orders, and dealers get what they get! So getting specific option is pot luck. Their lots were extremely bare. Pricing….. absolutely insane as we went to two dealerships and both tacked on $5K on top of MSRP to any of their vehicles as a “market adjusted value” ??? Needless to say I told them to “pound sand”, good luck surviving this chip supply/shortage, and the repercussions after all this calms down…people like myself will remember ?
So I’ll be still hanging around here for a while, and hopefully end up with a new truck one day….Ranger, Frontier, who knows. I just know after the previous 3-4 months of waiting I got my heart set on a Ranger, even with its few faults. It was great to actually see the model/color I ordered (haven’t yet seen one in our area) so that solidified my initial choice was correct.
I knew the car market was crazy, but after spending the last couple days window shopping, I guess it got crazier since my first order months back ? and I got a does of reality (or new normal) and it sucks.

Side note: dealer stated that if for whatever reason Ford delayed the building of my 22 to the point of them starting 23s, I would be in a great spot to receive the new model. While I know most here have been waiting to dive into the new model, my intention of ordering a 22 was because of the “old school” look. My preference.

So without further ado….
Hi, my name is Alex, not a new member, second attempt at ordering a Ranger, ordered my 22 Silver XLT FX4 SCRW 302A TOW w/o ASS on 04/16 and received my Ford order confirmation on 04/16 as well. Let the waiting begin…again ?

Edit: While I was at the Ford dealer, wife and I checked out one of many new Broncos, sorry to say, I was not impressed at all on just the fit/finish and cheap feeling interior alone. Again my opinion, just expected better for something “so new and redesigned” kinda got me worried about the direction Ford is going.

Glad you're back Alex! I really hope this one goes smoother for you. It's been a long crazy ride but it looks like you're up to trying it again and you've never let these setbacks damper your spirits. Yeah, I had to sneak that it there! ?
