Got delivery delayed. Ford chat says it's 12th-18th.
Course, we know what that means. I'll be lucky if I see it by the end of the month.

Really getting ready to walk away now. 8 months for a truck of this quality is hardly worth it.
And I actually don't have much interest in the ranger at this point.
I would at least hold out until end of the month.

So something interesting I called the ford sales and marketing number and my secondary update is that the plant has held my shipment. Now my truck has been been built since 03/22. What would cause them to hold it? She said there is not a part issue because their system does not allow it to show awaiting shipment if there is a part issue.

Be nice if someone would tell us why they are holding them. Can’t seem to get anyone to answer the question. Some of the trucks built after us are already shipped and in the hands of the owners or dealerships. Just don’t make sense. At least you got one to admit they were holding it. And the wait goes on.

When do you normally receive the VIN? My order/confirmation date was 1/29 and I received an email on 3/18 thanking me for my order and that there was a delay, etc. but I haven't received the VIN so I can't track it. I am just wondering if this is normal. I am not in a big hurry; I hope to have it by September. Thanks

You will receive your VIN# with the email of your schedule week/date. The window sticker will also be available to download closer to that build date. ?

Only a guess, but I’m betting most of this is the ongoing challenges with rail freight. It’s insane lately how hard it is to ship products. Trucking isn’t as bad as rail, but there are still plenty of trucking bottlenecks too.

Mine will be convoy. I only live 2 1/2 west of the plant. Just bug me seeing trucks built this month making it to the dealerships and truck built last month still setting at the plant and no one can tell us why. ?

Still stuck in shipping purgatory... Blend was 3/15 so over a month now from start of production.

Just wanted to point out if you use ordertrack that the number of vehicles "in the same status" is not the overall total, it's just the number being tracked on ordertrack by owners waiting along with you. So while I have 30 other people with me constantly refreshing the page there could be a few hundred other trucks sitting in the lot waiting for shipment.

If I was in your shoes, that close to the plant, I’m sure I’d be going bat sht crazy hearing that other convey shipments are going out with later builds. I’m sick of waiting and it’s only been about 3.5 weeks since mine was built, but thinking it’s beyond Fords control helps me a little. I’ll be real unhappy if I see later builds arrive in New England before mine, and for sure then I’ll wonder what’s wrong with those being held back. Hopefully the group of New Englanders on here waiting all see progress at the same time, and sometime soon. The longer the wait, the more I consider finding an FX4 nearby and upgrading the suspension instead of the Termor I ordered. That, and the 2023 switchover (May 2023?) is in the back of my mind as well.

I'm in CT so we'll probably be taking the same trains to get here, I'd assume. I'm 3/17 blend still awaiting shipping with zero shipping info in the tracker app.

Well I sure am thankful that I posted in this thread this morning because it must have given me a karma boost as the tracker just updated to show my truck In Transit! No rail info yet but it's a sight for sore eyes.
