I wish mine was that cheap! We have a vehicle license tax here which is based off the value and goes down every year. This was last years but when new it was over $600.00 for one year.

Our registration and tag was $120/year - a provincial election coming in June, so our Premier decided to try to win votes by cancelling the fee and rebating those who have paid since last March. I guess he didn’t realize he now needs to find 1 billion dollars - oops! ??‍

Although, that means a $240 rebate cheque for my car and truck - hmm, what can I buy for my Ranger? ?

Why do they think this is a good idea? Somewhere in the near future that $240 check is probably going to cost you $400 when they raise your taxes.
