I just went our to look and yup they're a textured vinyl lol
It is just a very thick vinyl covering, with body paint color underneath. Can easily be removed using a heat gun or hair dryer on low setting. But be aware, once you start to pull off, there is no going back....the vinyl will stretch and be un-usable.
Pic of mine with the vinyl removed...

That looks nice, but I think it would look even better if the silver between the windows was blacked out. Not sure how you would do it, though. Someone should suggest it to Ford! :giggle:

Got the front all put back together. I think I'm pretty close to my final design (exterior wise). Just need to paint the front and rear bumper satin black.

I'm on the fence about going from OE style flares to the larger extended ones. I may go back, I dunno.

Well I still have a ton of interior work to do, so....

Did I mention I re-did my electrical panel again? lol...

I think I may get out there and finally tackle these Eibach front shocks and springs after I eat some lunch.

I would have never thought that was just a sticker!

Did you add the black body side molding, and is it for protection or just looks?

Just remember, when you tackle those front coil overs, you’ll need more than these….

Should be easy enough with your 2WD. Good luck out there.

Looks fantastic! What flares are on it now? I think the flare extension for the bumper would make a big difference in making it look complete.

I went from Lund OE style to Bushwacker extendo's due to a screaming deal I got from a member here. He also gave me a set of RTR front bumper extensions, but while they do match the wheel well lines of the bushwacker, they are about 1" short as far as height. I am currently researching how I might go about getting the height to match.

Here are my old flares:

Dropped it off at the Dealer so they can replace the rear glass again.(glass finally in after waiting for 6 months). Tint guy broke the rear defrost tab off the glass when they replaced it the last time.

Yeah, I added the side molding along the raised body line for protection.
2 inch wide I got from Amazon.

Thanks for the info! I couldn't find anything when I last looked on amazon for the SuperCrew. Was it Ranger specific? I want the same thing on mine.

Its generic molding, but if you cut it and fit it right, looks factory.
Item is Cowles Pro Black Body Molding, part # S-38902
