Following up my 2022 order that is stuck in the 'build' stages on Fords tracker. It has 2/27 listed as the estimated delivery date. I contacted the dealer who hardly had much more info than what Ford's tracker was displaying said, 'Likely delivery late Feb or early March.' My buddy, who has access to a more detailed order system than we have access to, confirmed that the truck had been handed off to the freight company. Despite all of that Ford's tracking system still has the truck listed in the 'Build' stages with 2/1/2022 as the date. Not noted as 'built' or 'shipped' in any way. Kinda lame they give you a tracker that sometimes doesn't work at all and other times, when it does work, provides inaccurate information. If it's going to be so crappy they might as well not provide it at all.

Regardless I hope some of you guys get your orders sooner than the progress bar indicates. As of now it appears only the estimated delivery date is correct.

Is that what your dealer told you, or Ford email?
That seems awfully long for a Ranger with it's current demand. Unless they expect a lot more shut downs before then because of a lack of chips. The only people that have been taking forever to get scheduled are people ordering SuperCabs.
I ordered through military auto sales. That‘s the latest day of delivery, so I hope it is sooner than that.

It’s a HRP STX SCab (which also sounds like a really bad social disease).

Dropped my order yesterday. Took advantage of the 3% under invoice deal that Granger is offering. Too good to pass up as everything on the lots was $2k minimum over MSRP. Let the waiting begin!

XLT Tremor was ordered in November, and went into production 1/31/22. Still "In Production." But also not sure how long production usually takes... ?‍♂

Well yesterday after complaining about Ford not updating my orders build status it has been updated. Projected arrival date shifted from 2/28 --> 3/02. Not too bad. Its been a pretty challenging wait so far, but I'm happy to see it wasn't screwed up by the chip shortage too much.

So some stuff is certainly moving along up at the plant. Hope you guys get builds sorted soon as well.

Build week was 1/31/22. I've never ordered a vehicle before, so I have no idea what to expect. The online tracker says production can take a few days, but its been two weeks. I don't know if its normal or not, especially nowadays, so I'm just trying to stay patient. Its an XLT Crew Cab Tremor, mid-package, technology package for that sweet, sweet adaptive cruise control for my daily commute lol, and a spray in bedliner. I read somewhere a while back that the bedliners were delaying trucks, but I don't know if that's accurate anymore or not. I travel for work and will be out of state, and soon after that out of country, mid-end of March. I'm hoping I can get it before then, but only time will tell.

Sitting here wondering if we will get another surprise email from Ford tonight, like they did a couple weeks ago. Of course moving many of us two weeks further down the road. With the border crossings issues. I could see it coming. If we our lucky, maybe Ford will throw out another 1000 for the delay, like last year.

I'll admit, I'm a little nervous of that myself.

I am leaning towards that production dates will get pushed back more because of the freedom trucker ralley.
Even more if the truckers start one here in the US. And to be clear i support them.

23 years in trucking and I support alot of things. I remember a buddy getting domestic violence charges for sticking his arm up in a doorway when his wife was trying to leave. While I agree he shouldn't have tried to stop her, I have to agree blocking access to and from Canada. Should be met with same kinda of consequences.
