have ya been to canada, specifically ontario and seen the new retarded licence plates? I'm not sure a nuclear reaction will fix their crappy reflections
These? Looks ok and seem to be especially built for traffic cameras. I would have stamped them anyways.

Ok. they're scrapping those it seems.

Seems awful complex system. I guess it's made for license plate theft safe, in here we would just bill it normally and if someone misuses it we'd just slap his ass to jail for 10 years and put half a million fine for tax evasion. Plus 50 bucks for the original owner as compensation.

Got this guy installed. It will be interesting to see how it works. There is a little plastic ball inside the housing that seats flat when the valve is straight up and down. The ranger cap is at a very very slight angle so hopefully the ball will stay seated correctly. Stole one of my wife’s socks to cover the filter from other comments on here.

Side note, checked the oil and it was past the hatch marks to the top hole. Smelled like fuel still and the inside of the oem cap had a little milky residue. Oil change was done 600 miles ago and it was at the halfway point in the hash area right after the oil change.

Only had the truck since November, never used the windshield wipers yet, but the warning light came on for "Wiper Fluid Low". Dealer was too cheap to fill all the way and thankfully they didn't. Opened the cap and almost choked at the rotten egg smell. I think they partially filled with toilet water.

Went to the auto parts store and figured I'd get some cold weather fluid for when I'm up in Idaho since early fall tends to get a bit chilly. Discovered another example of utter government stupidity. Evidently OSHA regulates where cold weather fluid can be sold due to VOC and Maricopa County has Rule 344 which outlines the regulations. Asked the guy behind the counter where the cold weather fluid was and he informed me they were not allowed to sell premixed due to OSHA, but I could buy it in concentrate. I thought maybe he was sniffing brake cleaner and just bought the concentrate. Went home researched, and low and behold, its legit. You can't buy premixed, but you can buy in concentrate and are on the honor system to not mix beyond what is on the label. And I can purchase the premix from Amazon and have delivered. So so dumb.

Anyways. Dropped the under hood liner. Disconnected the 1/4" line and attached a length of 1/4" hard tubing to run near the drivers door and flushed the system with a mild bleach solution using the washer motor. Refilled with a little extra concentrate then the label stated just out of spite.

Is this supposed to help with fuel in oil? Replace the catch can? Curious mind here.

I’ve seen some say it helps with the oil fuel smell. @Doc uses this instead of a catch can to release crank case pressure. I plan on running this and a upr catch can to be on the safe side. Hopefully this will help with condensation build up more than anything.

If it’s any consolation, my light came on the second time I sprayed my windshield. Bone dry after that.

I’ll be honest; I’m sure it’s an easy thing to overlook/forget when they’re prepping a vehicle….but it made me nervous about what else they may have missed, forgotten or simply skimped on. I had a local shop check all my fluids a few days later, just for a little piece of mind.

Added a couple of little things today. An AFE cold air intake scoop, and a Mountains 2 Metal lower grill. Took less than ten minutes to install them both. LOL

Did you have to calibrate your ACC after install?

I notice the grille covers the ACC sensor.

around here the consensus is to have your plate lighted because its the law...but lighted as little as possible so the toll cameras have a tougher time seeing your plate.
unless you have a vanity plate and you want people to read it, why the need for so much more light?
It offers significantly more uniform light distribution, in order to avoid causing an unwanted glare when the reverse camera is in night vision mode. That, and I just like shiny things.

Not worried about making it easier to read at toll points either, I don't pay tolls.

So basically, the white just looks better than the OEM brown lights, that's all.
