Hello, I know this is an old thread. How are your Wildpeaks coming along? I am also looking into these tires at 265/70r17. I just got a 2021 Ranger XLT Sport 4x4. Did you need to level or lift?
I can't speak for the Wildpeaks but I am curious as to what you plan to do with your truck? Are you staying on the street? Are you planning to take it OffRoad any? If so how far OffRoad?(domt just say forest roads as they can get very nasty lol)

Hello, thank you for the swift reply, It’s mainly for streets/highway, and a few trips a year into the mountains with snow.

Nice! Those are 265/70r17? Michelin Defender LTX?
Sorry should have put that in, yes but 18”ers.
Eibach’s adjustable coil overs to level it some. 1” Bora wheel spacers.

I apologize for not updating. I ended up having the Falken Wildpeak H/T installed in 265/70/17. Overall, I’m very pleased with them. They are a very aggressive looking highway tire. Of course they’re still new but they are silent and ride good. Best pic I have at the moment.

I know this is an old thread, but how do you like these tires? I’m thinking of making the switch from Wildpeak M/Ts because of the road noise and I don’t really need an M/T for my driving right now.

Thank you in advance!

So if you go OffRoad less than 75% of the time then Mud Terrains are a waist of money.

If you are closer to a 50/50 split then All Terrains are a great choice. If not going OffRoad what so ever and just hitting the occasional dirt road as needed the HWY terrain tires are up your alley. Also HWY Terrain tires generally speaking have way better noise levels VS All Terrains amd Mud Terrains.
