Engine cover question.

Does the Lariat Tremor come with an engine cover? Mine didn't, just wondered if I need to jump the dealer or just order one.

Ford found they could save a few dollars by deleting the covers on all models. However, they can be bought from your local Ford dealer if you want one. Some online dealers sell them cheaper, but then you have to pay shipping that takes those savings away.

Just wait till you get some water splashed up around the plug and it causes a misfire. TSB #21-2147. The fix is new plug and an engine cover.

I don’t drive in water…and if you hit the water hard enough, the cover will help you collect it

My cat usually goes out at night, I guess he's figured out how to avoid that fate, but we don't have much of a mouse problem on 17 acres.
