Hopefully, tomorrow I will get to post a pic of ‘Ol Butterscotch in the snow. Or, well, in the flurries! Still counts though (to me anyway);)
Just keep that white junk over on that side of the country. ?

I hope we get a little bit so I can play in it with my Grandson and of course take pics of my Ranger. We’re only expected to gets flurries if anything though. Here’s hoping!

Flurries and/or a dusting is a natural disaster - end of the world situation to the Deep South. ?

Here in Mid Missouri we got a light snow of 4-5 inches. It was slushy this afternoon but is now freezing up. It rained all day yesterday. I can tell that I already don't like the stock Hankook tires where the snow has drifted over the road.

You certainly are correct! Since we are in the very Southeastern section of Alabama, they have practically taken our chance of flurries away.? We’ll see.

I still have the stock Hankook’s on. They seem great so far, but don’t really want to try them out in snow. I don’t need any help getting in the ditch.(Of course, since I’m not used to driving in snow, I might wind up in the ditch no matter the tire:crazy:).

Stay safe out there @12Bravo20!

Thank you and I will do my best to stay safe. I can deal with 2 ft of snow better than the 1/2" of ice any day. This is my first winter driving a truck in 12+ years. I had Jeeps since my last truck before getting the Ranger.

My Brother lives in Texas (Dallas area) and laughs every time they get a dusting of snow. All the natives freak out and don't know how to drive. ?

Hey Tracy, some of us grow up learning to drive on snow and ice, then get used to driving on it for decades and we can still wind up in the ditch, even with the best winter tires we can buy. At least you’re better prepared than most folks with your stock tires and have the right kind of vehicle to put the odds in your favour.

Some light snow slightly northwest of us. Husband got up around 4am and saw a few flurries. Nothing now. Oh, well, maybe next time.

Positioned Butterscotch for a beauty shot. Just sitting there looking lonesome waiting on flurries.

Several inches up my way so far with more on the way. First snow I've been able to experience with the Ranger. Motored around the neighborhood in the freshies already when I was shoveling the driveway.

Have to make a semi-emergency trip out in a little bit. I didn't want to be driving this much today, but there's nothing for it at this point. Packing up extra shovels and whatnot just in case, but I'm just going to be going extra slow because winding up in a ditch around here can mean things much worse.

Sounds like you’re prepared. Wishing you a safe trip.

Hi Tracy,

At least if you get some snow and it sticks, you will not be able to see parking stripes in the parking lot, eh? :)

best,
Phil
