Mine are mushy but don't go to the floor, I was concerned at first, coming from an Edge with touchy brakes, but once used to the Ranger brakes I kinda like they way they feel. You can change them using Forscan, there are plenty of threads on this topic....

Yes, while at a stop, I can push hard & it goes to the floor(seems that way).

I have your exact truck with almost 2000 miles. Brakes are not spongy in this truck, although they were in my '19 Ranger.

If your brake pedal truly went to the floor, you have a problem and need to have it fixed before driving it anymore. I'd be inclined to tell the dealer to come and get it.

You can drive 10 different cars/trucks and they each will have a different brake feel. I personally like the brakes on my Ranger.

This is very true.

The 2020 XL Sport 2WD had mushy brakes but my 2020 XLT FX does not.

I will admit the brakes felt "spongy" on my 19 Ranger when I bought it. At 68K, the brakes feel great and I still have 1/2 my brake pads left.

My 2021 had a very spongey pedal feel. I did the Forscan ABS bleed/purge and it was night and day.
Worth the $30 for the cable and ten minutes of time.

Would the Forscan tool work, if I had a tune in my truck already? Or, does the tune have this brake issue fixed already?

I've never noticed this mushy brake pedal on my 21 at all...

Forscan has a lot of service tools that do not require changing any of the computer settings. I know there are some issues with modifying the settings before you tune but, I think you are okay to do it afterwards. Someone can confirm.
The brake purge is just a service procedure you can activate with the program.
