Not just the smart car. Halogen reflectors and led lights don't mix well.

Try these. Cheaper than headlights, and a direct replacement for your XLT halogen driving lights. Easy to install and use factory switch.

I got better Halogens when I first got the truck, but my wife got a brand new VW Atlas with LED…. My lights were put to shame!

So I got the AlphaRex Luxx along with DD SS3 Pro/Fog/Yellow’s and I now see very well!

Don’t waste your money on halogens, you’ll start seeing LED’s everywhere and have light envy.

I can't speak for the fog lights he has but the AlphaRex do not blind others if aimed correctly. That is the joy of projectors
