Hello to all,

I have a Ranger Wildtrack 2019+ which has a FOX 2.0 lift kit installed.

The car also has 265/70/17R tyres installed with ET +1 Rims and is currently aligned properly. I am concerned that the stock UCAs might come into contact with the Fox suspension in an off road scenario (I added some pics for reference).

Billet UCAs look promising but I am worried they might be too big for the tyre so i was looking into BDS or Camburg.

Any suggestions or input is much appreciated.

I have Fabtech UCA’s with bolt in replaceable ball joints. They are great and made in the USA. I run them with my Eibach pro 2.0 adj coilovers set at 3.5 inches.

The only scenario the UCA might hit the coilover is at full droop. When I tested my truck out with the Fox 2.0s there was no contact. Jack your truck up and check it out.

There are a few manufacturers who make an UCA for the steel spindled American trucks, like mine. Not sure if they'll work on your Raptor. Camburg is who I would choose if I ever lift high enough to need them.

Thanks for the info. I was told that uniballs are maintenance heavy and it's easier to go with aftermarket ball joint. ?

Btw: It's not a raptor it's a Wildtrack.

I noticed that with the Camburg UCA’s, the front suspension feels different. After installing the Fox coilovers I went for a short ride with the OEM upper’s so I would have a benchmark to compare to, the difference was immediately noticeable. The suspension was able to smooth out much quicker after taking larger hits and it just feels smoother while taking the hits.
I wasn’t worried about fitment issues, I was just curious if they were going to be worth it, IMO they are. We off-road regularly and couldn’t be happier with the Camburg/Fox upgrades

Agreed. I have Fabtech UCA’s with Eibach pro 2.0 adjustable coilovers and the ride quality difference is huge. The stock suspension is just terrible

How far between maintenance?
I do preventative maintenance of all critical components on a schedule. Ball joints get disassembled, inspected and lubed at every oil change/5000 miles. They were still in perfect condition 3000 miles ago, I do not foresee these needing any more maintenance than any other UCA given the type of off-roading we do.
