Got my first tire rotation and balance done at 4500 miles on the tires...3 of the 4 required rebalancing.... while on the lift took a few pics of my recently finished mid travel setup at full droop.

Installed the ARB Air Compressor. I mounted the compressor in the area just above the spare tire, I went ahead and removed the spare tire now that i have on board air and a tire seal /repair kit. I installed the air chuck in the rear bumper and the hose is long enough to reach all four tires. This install took a lot longer than I thought and the work was done by a mechanic not a DIY job for me.

Since purchasing the Ranger has had an annoying cabin rattle when temperatures drop below 0'C and the car is cold. This is most likely due to plastic covers having different temperature shrinkage factors and one part of the A-pilar cover hitting on the dash/window cover.

Today I finally arsed myself to install my "Anti-Rattle Mk I prototype device" to resolve the issue. Initial testing is positive, no rattles have been observed. On the appearance side the prototype seems to need some additional work though.

And here it is, placed on drives side A-pilar/dash corner.

Just playing the devil's advocate here, and I understand the ability to patch/plug and air up a tire....but, without a spare on board, what happens if you get a bad rip/tare/slit in your tire that you can't repair, and you need a spare tire ?
Personally, even though I haven't used a spare tire on any of my vehicles in years, I still wouldn't hit the road without one. And, I also carry a compressor, plug kit, jacks and tools.
Yeah, I would try a plug/patch first, but if non repairable, I have the spare.

I have a feeling that if i did get a "bad rip/tare/slit in the tire" that i would not bother to take off the tire, pull out the spare and just call the Road Rangers :)

You lost me somewhere around "I have"...
Are you sayin if you had a flat that was not repairable with your compressor, and having no spare, you would call an emergency service to bring out a tire, have them pull off the bad tire and install a new tire while on the side of the road ?

Installed my big mouth and gave it some new badges. I guess you can say I'm a pretty big deal now ?

Looks good, I will be interested to hear if you experience a bump in MPG. I did when I installed mine this summer.

The Ranger got it's first oil change this morning.

The "change oil soon" alert came up a month or so back, even though it had only 2K on it. Ford apparently recommends changing the oil once a year.

Reaching the oil filter wasn't as bad as I was expecting. While it was up on the ramps, I looked around underneath and noticed the Borla muffler was embossed with the Ford Performance logo. I ordered the truck with the dual exhaust.

I now know it's cheaper to buy it from Borla, but it was easier to click the box when I was custom ordering the truck. The dealer installed it when the truck arrived. It isn't done at the factory.

I took it on a short drive afterwards.

Dipped my toes in the "Forscan" waters. Wasn't as bad as I was expecting. I'm mostly caveman and electronics and i usually don't get along. Just made a few minor changes.

The brain box is approaching the finish line. Won't be finalized till a little bit later this week I'm waiting on another set of relays and a few other miscellaneous parts to come in. Probably going to buy a piece of acrylic or similar to make a clear lid on this thing with some hinges and put a little computer fan in there to keep air circulating.

Trigger systems may be the hotness and be wireless but this thing is a damn work of art.

More work done. Got the harness finished to start connecting all the puzzle pieces together. Also started engine bay.connectiom upgrades to a heavy duty fuse and SE actual bus bars instead of piling ring terminals onto the battery.
