Obviously this guy is an expert. Didn't you see all the hardcore parts decals on the rocker panel of that bronco?

I might run a little trail or some minor terrain to get to a fishing or shooting spot but I have no interest in beating the hell out of my truck for fun (other than an occasionally stop light to stop light full throttle run). Who wants to deal with all that mud caked on the under carriage when you're done?

When they say "sealed unit" is that why there's not a limited slip or locker for the front?

Saw this on Y-Tube the other day, maybe a good thing I let my Bronco res go for a Ranger, I will re-visit it in a couple years.
Pretty sure our Rangers use the exact same M180 Diff as the lesser equipped Broncos.

Don't they have that on the higher models?
All Broncos are IFS.

When Fiat bought Chrysler they floated the idea of IFS for the wrangler since most "off road capable" SUVs an trucks spend 95% of their time on paved roads an IFS is far superior for ride an handling. The jeep community lost their mind an it went away. If the bronco takes a big chunk of the off road suv market I wonder if Fiat will reconsider the IFS wranglers. Most are mall crawlers anyway.

Absolutely.

Jeeps nowadays are just a lifestyle vehicle.

Had I gone through with my Bronco res it would've been an entirely different vehicle than my '95 YJ. And frankly, my Ranger beats the Bronco hands down for it's intended role in my garage.

Jeep has done a wonderful job of marketing their utilitarian vehicles towards hipsters, tarting them up with features, and charging way more than what they're worth.

It's weird how fanboys lock onto something that was a standard configuration 75 years ago AND NEVER CONSIDER ANYTHING ELSE.

i keep watching that raptor land and think that mid air - all the passengers must have had some thoughts.... maybe they had instant regret when they realized bubba really did slap his foot on the go pedal. maybe they just emptied bowels and bladders in fear, possibly even prayed for mercy or survival. redneck fame is short and painful. hope he enjoyed it:giggle:

Landing ramp, WTF is a landing ramp? We have a launching ramp, we don't need no stinking landing ramp. Gimme a beer and get outta my way.

I could watch it a million times, lol.

Yes they're all IFS but with the Sasquatch package you get the beefier M210 Dana axle. Standard axle is the M190.

You should've pushed for that bet. ? ?
