This arrived today. Figured it was about time.

...and the debate continues. Guessing the MyCalibrator and ProCal 4 come from the same vendor in China. Is Livernois 'good buddies' with the crew at Ford Performance? Was the Ford Ecoboost Performance Tune for Ranger an 'off the shelf' Livernois tune that Ford bought to avoid the onerous EPA testing requirements? 'Livernois' does appear in the credits on the ProCal 4 device. Before someone hyperventilates....

FedEx was kind enough to drop off my engine cover just before church this morning….after an inexplicable 3-day layover in Ocala FL.

Minor mod….and apparently a bit polarizing; but I’ll be honest, I’ve been pretty excited about this one:

Of course, somehow when placing the order I managed to add 12 Water Pump Assembly Bolts to my cart instead of the 2 Engine Cover Studs needed for the install. I also managed to miss the Track Nuts altogether:

Not sure wtf I was thinking or how I even got to water pump parts on the website…but now I’ll be prepared should I ever find myself in need of water pump assembly bolts. Heck, there’s probably a huge market for ‘em here, right?

Anyway, I caught the mistake when I got the shipping confirmation…so the correct hardware will…..or rather, should……be arriving tomorrow.

I guess the takeaway here is that I probably shouldn’t be placing any online orders after taking my dose of evening meds. Yeah….you’d think the 7-foot tall purple flamingo made from popsicle sticks and wearing a leather tutu would serve as a constant reminder to me.

And yet……here I am again.

Or at the least he got the insurance. That program is one of kind as far as I know and I wouldn't go without it if I had their tunes.

I tried.
I lasted about 45 seconds.
I couldn’t do it.
I couldn’t NOT GO LOOK.

Apparently it’s frikkin’ contagi….SQUIRREL!!!!….ous.

Although, the only tuned, blown engine we know about was running 5 star tune, and they didn't say one word about in over a hundred pages here. Despite being called to the threads. Stage 3 did, they run the insurance program which basically determined the tune to be at fault.

Dozens of others have had problems with them too. They'd be my last choice of the big 4, and I'd definitely run their insurance. Just saying.

Ive been running a 93 performance 5 star tune for over a year now.

The only problem I've run into is the boom in my wallet from paying for premium gas.
