Good idea Doc. I will have to research where some tracks are, might have to head up a little north towards LA to find some with a 1/4 mile.
In Georgia, you must have long pants, closed toe shoes and a helmet.

Good mention, I definitely will have to figure out the rules for the speedway I will be going to. Seems very similar in regulations from the surface level research I did though.

Something seems off about your dyno experience... @Nopalito just had his done. Nopalito, was yours in 2wd or 4wd?
It all felt odd to me. I need to be better prepared if I want to make sure things get done right otherwise I will be thrown on some turning metal cylinders and charged for some random measure.

First: $180 or $240 for just power pulls is robbery- I paid 135 with tax at a Subaru shop.

Secondly: I had mine on an awd dyno and had zero issues. Ran the truck in 2wd and got my pulls in.
One run had a knock event but the tank was 75% 91 and 25% mountain town 85 so I’m not surprised

almost sounds like shop wasn’t able to either strap down or position your truck correctly. Did they put it in 4WD on accident while trying to do pulls?

Thanks for the insight. The price sounded like robbery but I was eager to get it done and did not research much. I should of though, clearly.

AWD dyno 2wd do you have a link to your dyno graphs by chance? What gear ratios were they measuring at as well?

I think its the case they did not position the truck correctly and did not strap down properly. But they honestly had great reviews and over 3 different dyno setups as well. Just so odd to me. The tech said he was "traction control off and 2hi but the front wheel still spun a little"

Did you get your money refunded? Or did you still have to pay if they couldn’t get any runs?
Was not charged yet, they just ran the paper/shop details. No CC was given.

I watched that video when it happened. That dude was lucky he didn't get much more hurt than he did.
Hard to believe he lived. I was thinking… ⚰
