Good to know. Thanks Dave! Haha you aren’t wrong about the speedy drivers in some places. Did you adjust yours? I haven’t gotten around to it. I kind of like the idea of +7 over speed limiter if I ever get to go that fast ?
I did adjust mine, I'm to OCD not to.

Ahh yes, you should have the similar calculations as me and Dave when you check. Oh yes, please do update us when you can Paul!

More like a bump, jump and skid. Does that mean I need better suspension? Would smoosh be worst feeling or better?

Appreciate the concern, I truly do. You’d be surprised at what the ranger can do though, as long as you aren’t hitting crazy curves, it can handle quite well. I slowly stress tested with 3 mph more each time, the second I feel loss of control is unsafe, I mental note that daily drive area or road type for future encounters. Ranger will handle a lot more but I keep the center of gravity low with stock stance, feel it helps with not being as high up after lifting/leveling up.
OK, disclaimer: This is strictly my opinion (As is most of what I contribute). I've owned mostly compact 4WD pickups all my life, and up to a few years ago was a "spirited" driver. Now I'm old and wise...

AT tires generally have pretty good road adhesion as long as you stick with a quality* tire. Regardless of tires, a more or less empty pickup bed is good for on-road dry traction, adequate for on-road wet / off-road dry and sketchy for off-road wet. This is why I have a good set of ATs for my daily routine and why I have a set of dedicated MTs for my few off-roading adventures. For the Nürburgring I would put high performance tires on and make sure my insurance was paid up.

Now, suspension: The stock Ranger (IMHO) blows. Period.

Introduce what I call the railroad-crossing test. Most of us have done this in our trucks (talking empty bed for this example). We encounter a crossing that is known to be particularly rough and elevated so we give it more gas to ensure a little more flight potential (this is a safe no-train crossing BTW).

If, after extending the suspension, it recovers by a scary slightly sliding smoosh, you own a Ranger. If it recovers with a bump that feels like your rear yawed about an inch or so, but is immediately planted sending you on your way, then you upgraded your Ranger's shocks.

If either of these feel like a Town Car rolling over a box spring on the Interstate, then you have have 200 or more pounds in the bed of your Ranger.

FWIW most of your problem lies in a light unbalanced rear. A different suspension may/not mitigate that. Tires, not so much.

Thank you so much for explaining all the nitty gritty details. Especially all those different tests as well. I shall eventually upgrade my front suspension but keep the stock stance, maybe bump it by .5 in but that's it. You think the center of gravity helps in that way vs a fully lifted high up center of gravity? I upgraded my rear shocks, and recently I had about 200 pounds in my rear. That could very well explain some smooshing.

Cooper Discoverer HT3's have been a pretty solid performer for the fleet I maintain. If you're looking for a good highway tire, I would check those out as well..... if you haven't made up you mind yet.
Will check those out, I think I am leaning towards a dedicated summer/sport tire like toyo, falcon or the Otani mentioned above. I want something that will be absolute terrible in rain but wonderful in every way on nice dry roads. Appreciate the help Chris!

Got these for now. An update to this post. I love these machined wheels… it matches way better than the lariat ones and I loved those. Plus these will be easier to clean.. couldn’t pass up 11k miles only on the hankooks and the second set of wheels for cheaper swap cost.

Plus, it was wheels/tires, no TPMS for $385, had to drive 220 miles total but worth it. Bought a second set of TPMS already for it, going to get them swapped tomorrow. I’ll miss the falkens… but they go back on in about two months. Bonus pic with @Nism0z33 beautiful truck.

I’m beginning to think it’s a Ranger thing. I haven’t seen one parked straight (in my area) yet!

I think it's because us with the Saber colored Rangers get distracted by its amazing beauty. Kinda like a awesome sunset.
