MBRP catback installed. Quality, fit & finish are top notch and I like the sound. Not obnoxious and smooth, a subtle sound increase over stock which was exactly what I was looking for along with the improved flow of course. No need for a Ranger sounding like a 400 hp Focus RS.

Agree 110%. I did switch my tip to black, easier to keep "kleen" from decolorizing influences...

The thought has crossed my mind. I'll give it some time and might switch it up down the road. If the ranger ran as rich as my tuned STi, I'd probably have one on order already.

I did that yesterday and winced. 60 bucks for the fill up. If prices go much higher Natasha’s going on a diet! ?
Spent $79.00 on 91 octane in Las Vegas the other day. Ugh!!

The Slaga today:

Took mine out of the driveway mekanek role and drove it around. Been almost two weeks since I started it up and actually got to drive it...man, I did miss it once I got back into the drivers seat.

Finished installing the cold air pipe, grill and cover pieces, adding coolant, running the recommended restart procedure for coolant refill/air removal for the new radiator. A/C nice and cold, no drops, dribbles or running fluid under car or around hoses or engine compartment.

Went to grocery store, bank and drove around the ocean for it's initial drive.

Grill work hides the "M" unless there is direct light in, which there isn't right now.

I do have to say the the grill took about 5 seconds to go back in as opposed to coming out

(PS - Gorilla glue works great if the double sided tape on the foam fails)

Wife got a Cricut earlier last weekend and has been making all sorts of with it since. Mostly it’s been labels for my son’s school supplies, but she also was able to cut a flag for me.

I had wanted one that was the same height as the fender vent, and none of the ones on Amazon were close. This one fits the bill, and should be good enough until I can get a vinyl that matches the metallic trim color.

I installed my Eibach lift last night. It was a gigantic pain in the behind. Both inner CVs separated, one of which had the axle nut removed to allow the axle to play. We got them reset though, and hopefully it will not be an issue. Also, a buddy and I drove all around God's green earth yesterday trying to find the correct socket size for the axle nut. The Eibach directions say its a 32mm. All other Google searches showed a 32mm. Mine, however, was a 35mm. The axle nut size for a 2021 Ford Ranger XLT is 35mm. (that is just so Google finds it when someone searches).

I have an alignment today. I will post pictures later, when I can get better photos. For some reason, the midnight photos in my garage didn't turn out nice.

You're going to like the ride quality. I had the dealer install mine to maintain warranty and avoid the pain. Did you go with +3"/+1" setup?

I can already tell the ride is much better. I opted for the kit that is front lift and rear shocks only, so it will be lifted to 39" in the front (RF was at 36 1/8", LF was at 36", both rears are at 39"). I can add the blocks later, if I decide I need more lift in the rear, though, I am more of a functional parts guy, so I would do a set of springs and/or shackles. to get a bit more height out of the rear. Springs, more than likely, to accommodate the additional weight coming and provide a better ride.

I did take the sway bar off last night too. When I tried to attach the sway bar end links, the sway bar itself was contacting the lower control arms. I'd need shorted end links. Today, the truck did not feel like it was out of control, so I may just leave it off. I can always adjust and reinstall it later.

Back to the ride; bumps that made my teeth rattle and rearranged my kidneys with the FX4 suspension (only the fronts at this time) were smooth and subtle. Much, much smoother ride. I am stoked and can't wait to get the rears installed (once available from Stage 3. I have already ordered them, just waiting for them to arrive at S3 and ship.).

Installed Eibach Pro Truck shocks on the front. Decided not to use the Eibach springs as towing i‘d be sporting a Carolina Lean. Went with the 1.5in lift, and very happy with the results. The rear bed sides are level, and it’s about a 1.75 in difference front to rear. I’ll post a photo when it stops raining!
