Ian, in our travels across our great country it seems that most all states have the same problem. In North Carolina, where in the past our roads were very good, the government (no matter which side of the aisle they sat) started diverting our road tax, and spending those taxes on their little pet projects. And now we are locked in a time warp. Raise the road tax, spend it somewhere else, run low on road tax monies, raise the road tax, spend it somewhere else, run low................You get the idea.Very well stated. People always whine and cry about the state of infrastructure but refuse to show how it will be paid for other than taxes. I live in Kansas and the roads here are a joke, but at least I have cheap gas.
Politician: From the Greek words "Poli" meaning blood sucking, and "tician" meaning parasites.
