hindsight is 20/20. i would have hoped my powder coater, who did wheels before, would have known not to powder coat everything. I didn't know until i realized how difficult the wheels were to get off the hubs.

truck has a little over 20k miles on it.......

so i have a 21 fx4. stock besides the 265/75r16 wildpeaks on 16" bronco (22 bronco) steel wheels. these steel wheels were silver when i got them and they fit fine on the hub when i tested them with no tires. i had the wheels powder coated black and the powder coater covered everything...

so i decided to change the engine air filter today and got a ford 1943 filter from dealer. went out and disconnected the sensor, undid the 3 clips and pulled cover off slightly and swapped old with new. Putting the cover back on i bumped the reservoir return line slightly and it sprayed...

and here i was thinking of replacing the stockers with timbrens..... not any longer!

was up under today and noticed mine were the same. and i just had a rear driveshaft replaced under warranty. i was like "they didn't notice this????" But it seems this is 100% normal and is just how they are so i am good.

update: wasn't supposed to get a new shaft till end of july but one showed up friday and was installed monday. vibe is 90% gone but i still feel a very slight vibe which seems to come from the front- which is weird. Maybe that is something else. It's almost unnoticeable. The other issue...

i ended up getting the wrong ones from ebay- they would not fit even though seller said they would. and he would not honor a return so I reviewed him. I went with the bronco ones you posted and love them. Got those from another ebay seller.

i have this issue as well as the vibes on acceleration. truck is getting a new driveshaft under warranty at dealer. there is a tsb that addresses the vibe from a stop and states for 4x4's, replace driveshaft. for rwd, add shims. i've already added shims a couple years ago at another dealer...

well dealer says it's the driveshaft. i guess we shall see once they get the part, install, say it's good, then i drive it. usually, in my recent experience(not with the current dealer but other dealers), they say it's fixed only for me to experience same issue as before.....
