Ughhhhhh. I bought a heavy duty shackle mount for my hitch, and when I got home I set it on the back bumper to put on before I went and got my truck washed. I forgot, and left to get the truck washed and lost my brand new shackle mount. ?

But I got my truck washed yesterday for a car show tomorrow.
When I was deep and heavy into initial rack development it happened on more than one occasion I'd go to run an errand the following day and hear stuff hitting the roof, or falling in the bed.

"Oh thats where those nuts and bolts went. I can't count how many times my butterfingers were trying to manipulate a small bolt and nut combination at an awkward angle only to fly into a curse laden rage when they would disappear off to whatever void that shit goes to.

I also thought I lost a screw driver once, but it survived interstate speeds ontop of my platform and didn't go anywhere lol

Don’t feel bad. I had one of the headlamp flashlights. Has the 2 18650 batteries in it. Left it over by the battery and closed the hood not thinking. Next time I drive hear crunching when I turn the wheel after driving a short time. Went to take a look and there is the headset wrapped around the steering arm. Great, got to cut it off! Ya, stuff happens! ?

Was farting around in the garage today and finally took the the time to do a couple things I've been meaning to do since week one.

Aligned the fenders...

And got rid of the front "spats."

Agreed!

Love the width on the tires. Fitment with the wide body is spot on.

Sharp! I need to do that i have some fat gaps
Looking at your truck yours is more of an actual gap than what I corrected. Mine was the typical factory hood overhang of the fenders.

Pretty simple. Just loosened up the three 10mm, I think it was, bolts on top and pulled them out. Hardest part was getting my daughter to hold then in place while I retightened the bolts.

Your gap might be a product of the wide body kit. Either way, with the black paint it's hard to see.

I cut out, filled and painted where the the left 12V outlet was above the console, so I can reach into the console easier with my clumsy hands.
Who needs two of those things side by side like that anyways.

<<<This guy. :p

I use the one on the driver side for an LED voltmeter. Gotta know what the damn BMS is doing. The passenger side is for anything else and I keep a splitter handy, because that one isn’t always enough.

When I was at the dealer the other day looked at the two they had on the lot and they’re still building them with the hood overhanging. What’s up with that?

Probably something to do with partial overlap collision deformation and/or pedestrian crash protection- just a guess.
