Never did care for sunroofs. Had one on my 1995 Honda Prelude. Never used it. Also as others have said, it is frustrating that that make it part of a package.

I am also in Florida and would like one as well. Someone on here did add one and it came out really nice. Only 2 companies make all the sunroofs for every manufacturer so if you buy aftermarket it is the same as it would be from factory. I know people say they leak, but I have had 4 sunroofs put in on 4 different vehicles and have never had one leak.I love my '19 Ranger Lariat but it has no sunroof. I live in Florida where the weather is great and am constantly wishing I had a sunroof. My next vehicle, Ranger or not, will definitely have one.
Just saw the new Maverick and it will have that option. What's up with that?
Come on Ford make a sunroof standard on the Lariat or at least optional on the 2022 Ranger! Please!
Had one get dinged from a rock from a semi and it was fine for the next 10 seconds…. Then it shattered. I’m personally thankful I don’t have one now. Also very thankful I have a Ranger instead of my 17 Optima SXAdded complexity, weight where you don't want it, loss of headroom, there's literally nothing to gain from them.
it's not at all odd, since one is a new design for the us market, and one is an old design for the au marketHowever, it is odd that Ford offers them in the maverick, but not the Ranger.
I fear that the next gen ranger will make this non-optional in all higher trims. Which sucks, since I f'ing hate sunroofs. (I'd much rather have a couple more inches of headroom and not have a giant hole in the roof to accommodate a feature I will never use.) One more reason to just keep this truck forever.I have no use for one now. Please don't charge me for it in a package but if stand alone option for those who want it, fine.

I can dig it Mike. Never thought of that.it's not at all odd, since one is a new design for the us market, and one is an old design for the au market
