My SiriusXM trial has ended. Does anyone know if it is possible to remove their stations from my display so I don't have to scroll through 3 dead channels between am/FM and Bluetooth? Would this require forscan?

Do you use forscan? If so, have a look in the APIM or IPC module. I know people have remove am/fm, but not sure about XM

You can renew for $5.00/mo.
Yacht Rock Radio keeps me subscribed. :sunglasses:
That's IMO the bad thing about XM. You need to almost threaten to leave every year to get the good rate. There is also too much talking between songs. Years ago the music stations were just music, period. My radio has the name of the band and song listed. I don't need the DJ pointing out their shoe size. I keep a reminder in my calendar just for renewing XM.

I call and tell them I want to cancel a week before my subscription expires. They have ALWAYS given me the $5 per month deal to prevent me from cancelling. They never argue or anything. Just ask for customer retention. Comes out to around $80 for the year after their BS taxes and royalty fees. I have subscribed since 2014.

Reminds me of cable TV when it first came out. They sold it as commercial free TV. That’s what you’re paying for!

Fast forward to today,no different than over air, they pound the hell out of you with advertisements.

I’m not paying them to brainwash me, not now or ever! That’s what USB sticks are for. Load up my fav tunes by the gigabits and never hear a commercial again, or the small talk of nosy neighbors

I dropped DirecTv because of that game.

Yeah I would far rather spend any money that goes towards XM on a quality streaming service. You can listen to exactly what you want at all times. Radio is an outdated concept. I wish I could remove AM/FM and XM from the display and have it always default to Bluetooth.

Until the $5/mo deal runs out.
Good for 12 months and when you near the end call customer service and tell them you want to cancel. I've been doing this since 2006 when I bought a boat that had XM.
Also the subscription on the Ranger includes XM traffic and weather for 5 years which works with the nav.

That's exactly why I like XM because it can introduce you to songs you never knew existed.
FFS Andy Cohen has a channel called KiKi Lounge...

I mainly keep XM because I'm out of cell range in the hills. I don't have an extensive digital music collection.

Wow that got a lot of replies quickly. I'm not paying a cent for Xm. Its nice and all but I pay for spotify and listen to exactly what I want to. 100% ad free. A coworker said its is possible with forscan and I'm going to learn how to use it.
