If regular gets up to $3.50 a gal here I might go back to 87. Right now 91-93 is $3.30-3.50. I don't have to commute to work now so it's less of an immediate concern. I hope this hack only causes a temp hike.

In California 87 is already $4/ gallon so we use to it lol but I don’t know no matter what gas prices do no point in switching from 91/93 to lower grade just cuz fuel prices go up. 30k miles of 91 and I ain’t switching now lol Unless obviously cheaper grade is the only stuff you can get

Guess we need another pipeline. I use the 87/89 tune and usually fill with 89 which runs 3.34 and we don't have a gas shortage.

FYI around here premium is usually $.60-70 more a gal than 87....that's about 10 bucks a week for me. I use roughly one tank a week. The increase is less at the whole sale clubs but I don't have a membership to one of them an there's no way I'd save anywhere near enough to pay for it just buying gas.

I split a membership with someone else so it helps. No way I can eat 40lbs of chips or use 300 batteries but for gas and other items like vitamins and certain electronics it pays for itself.

While prices will certainly go up in some capacity, that's not my concern. I'm more worried about how I drove past a few gas stations with no fuel at all to sell today, and in VA, this stuff is just beginning! Scary shit lol

I thought I heard the pipeline would be up and running by the weekend. I am on the west coast so I can only go by what I hear. I saw the lines on the news and laughed because it reminded me of the toilet paper crisis last year.

But the media never lets a good crisis go to waste so they'll play this one out as long as they can. People (ok dumb people) will believe them and as you can see start filling up every day even though they don't need to and create a real crisis.

In June, we'll get cicadapocalypse 2021. Just keep an eye on the news! Yeah, it's the dumbasses filling up trailers full of 55g drums that are ruining it for everyone. Still, that means I can't get any gas when I need it lol

Same boat here, 93 is about $3.10 and also 93 is the last to go empty everyone wants to snatch up the cheap 87.

Yet another self-inflicted shortage by low information voters; same as the whole toilet paper debacle...

We do not have 93 here but we have 91. Here are the prices close to me. If I go about 7-10 miles away I can get it for $3.99. I think Costco is $3.89.
