Anyone know any friends or coworkers with Rangers? I ask this question is because yesterday I noticed a "new" ranger parked yesterday when I got off work. (Actually had blue advantage plates- aka pre-owned).

Today leaving work Ranger was parked in the same spot, and I notice they had an item from the company in the cab. Meaning it's a coworker! Don't know who yet but I'm excited that they decided to park next to me! Nice looking blue FX4 Lariat too. I'll try to grab a pick of the new ranger buddies Monday.

There were 3 other new 5g owners in Lone with me when I got my tags.

But at work just one 3g owner.

Here are two at my place of employment. There is a silver one also, but I've only seen it a couple of times. I haven't found out who the owners are yet.?‍♀ Beware co-workers! Ranger enthusiast on the loose!:giggle::turkey:

I don't think the majority of Ranger owners are excited about their purchases as the people on the forum.
That’s the truth, folks look at me like I have two heads when I excitedly wave to them. But there was a cool guy in Key West, in a Silver Ranger, who appeared as excited as me as we exchanged waves.:)

I was on vacation last week at Disney's Polynesian Village and saw a red one drive in, I almost went over to talk to the guy, then I remembered most people won't care. Although, a few weeks ago there was a guy in a nearly identical Ranger parked next to me, we talked about upgrading the FX4 shocks, his wife didn't look thrilled.

Hey Rich, I think you’re bang on with that observation.

It really speaks to the impact a great online forum has on its members. I used to visit another ranger forum when I needed info on issues or repairs for my 2001 XLT. It was very helpful and I would always find the information I needed but I never engaged with the members. When I discovered this forum, it was clear from the start that it was different - in a good way. Not only do I find the information I’m looking for, there are personal insights into how and why members do things with their Rangers. It’s a great online community and I can‘t think of a more appropriate time than during this pandemic when something like the ranger5g forum has been needed. There’s no doubt that connections are being made.

A guy with a Lariat parks on my block - he likes his truck but it’s bone stock and he seems unphased by my enthusiasm. Go figure. I flash my high beams and give a wave to every single Ranger I see on the road and all I get back is a blank stare. But, when that one driver flashes or waves back, or seems to purposely park next to my truck, I’d be willing to bet they’re a 5g member.

As a vehicle is out longer the community changes. I joined The Ranger Station back when it started, I think it was still a Yahoo group back then, it sure has changed. It was more like this back in the day.

We were there last week too. Noticed quite a few in the parking lots. I kept pointing them out to my wife who was increasing uninterested.
