Always hate to see a fellow Ranger owner leave but you have to be happy with what you're driving. Good luck with your new Gladiator.
Thinking about it, I'm not leaving. Just driving something else.

While I will admit that the build of my JK Wrangler was less than stellar, FCA/Stellantis has a FAR better in-car integration system with U-Connect.

It is leaps and bounds better than Sync. Ford could learn a few things from it.
I’ll agree with that. The Sync system is garbage compared to U-Connect. Interesting that Ford is trying to really push the modern tech stuff with their powerplants, the Mach E with a ridiculous gigantic tablet glued to the dash, and a hybrid F-150 all that jazz, but they can’t even make a competitive infotainment system for their vehicles.

But, I missed my Jeep. Every time I saw one I was checking it out. ..
Life is toooo short not to be happy if you can. Do what you need to do and good luck to you, mate.

Cheers..

If I'm totally honest, for me it was really close between the Ranger and the Gladiator - photo finish close. I could have easily gone Gladiator and not been upset - especially the Mojave.

I'll drive this truck for a few years and then if I just have to have something else, I'll give this to my kid and get something else. Maybe a Mojave. Maybe a Tremor. You just never know.

Congrats on following your heart. Glad you found happiness and wishing you all the best!

Well folks, as some of you know I came to the Ranger from a Jeep Wrangler JLU. The Ranger is an awesome truck. I spend a lot of time in the desert and it had done everything I've asked of it. It's quick, powerful, comfortable, decent economy. No complaints.
But, I missed my Jeep. Every time I saw one I was checking it out. I liked the pickup bed of the Ranger so I made the mistake of driving a Gladiator. I liked it much more than I thought I would. I bought it. Ricky Ranger is gone.

This is a great community. I'll stick my head in occasionally to say hello.
You all take care, stay safe and thank you.

The Gladiator was on my short list until I heard "3.6L Pentastar"...just not a fan of that engine. Good luck and enjoy the new ride!
Steering and handling is lacking highway speeds to me, but I think it's interior looks cool. Don't like the no power seats etc for the $.

And terrible loosey goosey steering, wander all over at highway speeds.
Was going to get one until I drove one and even my jeep dealer friend dropped his order after driving one. He says it takes every bit of $10k off to get them off their lots. Been a big disappointment for most jeep dealers.

Give it at least three months. Then come back and give us an honest eval between the two trucks on what is better or worse between the two. Should be interesting.
