Well folks, as some of you know I came to the Ranger from a Jeep Wrangler JLU. The Ranger is an awesome truck. I spend a lot of time in the desert and it had done everything I've asked of it. It's quick, powerful, comfortable, decent economy. No complaints.
But, I missed my Jeep. Every time I saw one I was checking it out. I liked the pickup bed of the Ranger so I made the mistake of driving a Gladiator. I liked it much more than I thought I would. I bought it. Ricky Ranger is gone.

This is a great community. I'll stick my head in occasionally to say hello.
You all take care, stay safe and thank you.

I have tried to like the Gladiator, and just can't.
But we all have to drive what makes us happy.
Safe Travels!

Sweet! There are many off-road things my Ranger will never be able to do, but it should be perfect for what I want to do now. The Jeep is a rugged machine, have fun. I had 87k miles of fun in my Wrangler. Even way more fun to hit the trail with others driving the same.

Lookin good! The one thing I like about the gladiator more than the ranger is the aftermarket support. You're going to have so much fun with that!

This.

Every time I went on a trail ride with the Jeep club there was a literal traffic jam in the woods.

I much prefer smaller groups of no more than 10 vehicles, and even 10 can be problematic.

3 or 4 vehicles seems about perfect.

I was doing some off roading last summer and began to feel that I was being followed, came around a bend in the road and saw a similiar chain of Jeeps that had fallen in line behind my Ranger, assume they were just being humble and paying their respects, lost em when the going got tough.
