The issue I’ve had is no matter which bulb eventually one would burn out and the other would flicker.
I tried dielectric grease and it didn’t matter.
I switched back to my oem bulbs to see if the same issue pops up. Not sure if others experienced this as well, just wanted to throw it out there.

Meh. On this car I don’t think I’ve used the factory nav and probably wouldn’t have ordered it if it was a standalone option.
I just wish google maps showed up on the right screen in the lariat cluster when using CarPlay.
I had this same issue on like 4 sets. The drivers side would just die and the passenger side would flicker. The driver side always had crap in it and looked wet (which I don’t get since it has a seal) so I added dielectric grease and all seems well now.
I just had mine replaced a week ago and couldn’t be happier. I was originally hesitant about the calibration too but they did it and everything seems fine.
They're professional and keep you updated from start to finish. Nothing to worry about.
Overall regret? Nope. Love the truck. Maybe just wish I added the electronic locking diff. Have I needed it? Nope. But for the price it would’ve been nice just to know it’s there.
I’d say it’s very doable as a diy. Just read the manufacturers directions and follow to a t. The prep is probably the key part, making sure you remove any surface oils from polish or soap or whatever other products you may have used goes a long way to allowing the coating to adhere to bare...

rag company Pluffle for buffing after a wash and dry or using a quick detailer
Rag company gauntlet drying towel for drying
Costco towels for interior
Unfortunately my preferred wax/polish removal towel is no more but I’d recommend anything low pile

In regards to the jump starters. I have the gb40. Have not needed it for my own car yet, but have jumped 3 cars for friends and family. The convenience of this item is unmatched.
