And today I updated my bed organization for "undercover overlanding". Earlier in this thread, I was rocking a wood divider that was working well for me, but now I've got more gear!

The beginning:

I used this side-to-side divider to act as a kingpin to hold a box locked in the bed to hold and organize some off-roading gear. The added box will come out when the kingpin divider is removed.

@AzScorpion must be going mental with all these pics of tailgates with no Dampers.
I go crazy wondering about hauling trash. I see all these nice beds full of clean important things and it blows me away and then I remember I don't exactly live in the first world. lolol

Wow... really nice job.

How do you like your bed liner? Our previous trucks have all had drop in liners. Our Ranger has the factory spray in liner. Sometimes I like it... sometimes I hate it.

Sometimes I like it, sometimes I hate it. ?

Pros:
-It has grooves along the bed that channel water (what very little gets in my bed) under the cargo.
-It has molded in pockets for dropping in my dividers.
-It can be slippery; cargo slides across it easily while loading.

Cons:
-It can be slippery; cargo slides across it when you don't want it to.
-The grooves are uncomfortable to kneel on when working in the bed.
-It has caused some light scuffing in the bed.

Great job. I'm glad this thread gave you some good ideas to work off of. Each of us have our own custom needs.??

My Ranger is still afraid of dampers and I’m not going to push him. He is neurotic enough without damperizing him before he is ready.

Dave, you are a hoot! LOL

Al I told you it was time to stop babying him. He's going to turn into...well a Millennial! (no offense to the normal Millennials) He'll expect a participation trophy for coming in last and next thing you know he'll be joining Antifa. :bandit:

I don't think joining Antifa is likely. He's begging for a magnetic U.S. flag but I can't figure out where to mount it given his damper-free aluminum tailgate will not work. He hasn't asked for a trophy yet but in my opinion he deserves one.

I love this truck and he knows it. ?
