Excellent quality, rubbers are heavy and thick. The rotomolded box is butter smooth inside. Install was SUPER easy following Mishimoti's youtube install video. As far as noise ... not so much. With hood open you can hear a nice whoosh sound but when driving windows up or down there is no real gain in noise. Maybe an extremely slight induction noise but its drowned out over fords stupid fake engine noise pumped through the speakers. Seems to spool up slightly quicker. Overall I'm happy with it. I'm just used to naturally aspirated motors that have a nice grunt when an intake is installed.

No noise is a good thing for me. Noise does not improve time slips. Our little four bangers are loud enough.
I have never heard the fake engine sound track. I have even had my wife get close to the speakers and she can't hear it. And that is fine with me! Which speaker(s) does it emanate from on your truck?

Its a deep drone type of tone. It doesn't necessarily come through a specific speaker. It's a surround sound type thing. Its very noticeable for me. Almost every manufacturer has some sort of sound enhancement, bmw is a big offender of that. If there's ever a way to dismantle it I'm sure it will be a big noticeable difference.
