As a researcher and formulator in the Dietary Supplement industry for the past 25 years, I am grateful to be able to navigate clinical studies and publications to draw informed conclusions.

I have spent some time during my COVID-19 self-quarantine, researching something that is not really getting the press or credit it deserves.

If you haven’t heard of “Hydroxychloroquine” yet… You will.

This is an immunosuppressive drug that has treated/prevented malaria for decades. It is well tolerated by humans and has plenty of safety data to back it up.

PRO-TIP…. Hydroxychloroquine is from a class of drugs called “Quinoline”. “Quinine” is a plant-derivative from the same drug class and it used as a flavor agent in tonic water. So Gin Tonic’s for all! ?

Now back to Hydroxychloroquine…

Recently, there have been a lot of anecdotal reports of this drug stabilizing severe patients around the World with COVID-19. One doctor reported over 350 confirmed recoveries without a single death and/or side effects. After my personal research in reading the various publications, one does not need to be a doctor to know this is the REAL DEAL!

The current administration and their team of experts have just cleared the way for the FDA to approve the “off-label” use/prescription of this drug for COVID-19. This is an unprecedented move for the FDA and deserving of headlines in every major newspaper and TV network in America!

Unfortunately, due to the hyper-political division in Our Country today, this news is going relatively unreported.

I am here to tell you Ranger 5G members (and anyone else) Hydroxychloroquine is a GAME CHANGER!

Yes, it’s too early to call this a “cure”. But for those extremely ill individuals due to the COVID-19 virus, all their immune system needs is a “boost”. Like the turbo charger in the Eco-Boost motor in our Rangers…
a little boost to get us over the hump, then our natural immune systems can kick in and kick this virus’ ass!

Today is a good day and we all can feel good that everything possible is being done to battle this insidious virus!

You did not correct the CDC numbers, just applied some different factors to them.

I wasn't attempting to be antagonistic or accusatory. Just trying to answer your question which was thus:

What am I missing here?

The answer is, you (and to be fair, many many others) are missing the rates hidden in the raw numbers..

I've been seeing this more and more lately and I've posted (along with Sid) a few videos back a couple pages on here. IIRC the president cleared this to be used in NY starting today,hoping this will help speed up the recovery and mortality rates. There was also talk that plasma from a person who has recovered from C19 already has the anti-bodies. Here's the video Sid posted which has the info on both the plasma (starts at the 19:00 mark) and the Hydroxychloroquine.

I went a step further thinking the alcohol content would be stronger and kill the virus if it were to get inside me. ?

Really getting more worried about the financial toll this is going to take on our country. I honestly don't know how working parents and single parents are coping with this. There is speculation that there will be a baby boom in 9 months due to everyone (or at least a lot of folks) being at home. Really hope that is not offset by a similar surge in the suicide and mental health statistics. We have a long way to go to be fully out of this. Not trying to be a downer; but, this whole thing is unprecedented and we don't have a playbook to go by on this one.

Seems to be a reoccurring theme come election year. Over blown now. If immuno compromised then yes serious. If not, it’s just a flu strain

Big Pharma must hate this because they won't be able to capitalize on it like they thought. I was watching another video yesterday where they said that the Chloroquine was only 0.05/pill.

Chloroquine does show hope. What's pissing me off is the media. It took less than a day for the media to report that "Man dies after taking chloroquine." Yet when you dig in you find that he overdosed on a freaking aquarium cleaner. The media is so guilty of saying whatever they can in a headline to get clicks for their ad sponsors that it makes me sick.

Media is instilling fear in a completely viable solution. What the world needs is severe laws and punishment against these kind of news articles.

Anyways, look much deeper than whatever fear and BS the media feeds you. The guy overdosed on aquarium cleaner that was full of additives well beyond plain Chloroquine. He didn't die of Chloroquine, he died of stupidity and gave the media some great clickbait in the process.

Agreed, that is very tragic; albeit utterly unbelievable.

Sprinkling sodium fluoroacetate on your eggs instead of sodium chloride would also be tragic.

I don't think panic drove them to make that choice, otherwise there would be more instances because there sure is A LOT of panic out there.

And of course, CNN reports on this.

I stand by my assessment that Hydroxychloroquine (and Chloroquine) will be a GAME CHANGER in the COVID-19 mess. And if I'm wrong, I'll be the first to admit it.

Zinc supplements is another good way to fortify your immune system...also, Tonic Water contain Quinine...Gin and Tonic prevents Malaria...the same as Hydroxychroroquine (which contains Quinine) just so you know...Cheers!
